Indeed, why would anyone do this particular thing, whether they love or hate biden???
Also consider the old adage that the more people you have involved in a con, the more likely someone’s going to break. Involving the media is a substantial risk unless they have such a death grip on them that any deviation from the plan or any idea of “leaving the plantation” would be a violation of a blood oath punishable by death.
Think about all of the mobile pool cameramen and grips and operators who would have to be in on a con. If you simply ask, “whose footage is this,” and get crickets, something’s up. If someone speaks up and identifies the footage as theirs, now they have to cover for some seemingly obvious lie, and the problem with lies is that they require more lies to keep covered.
The truth is out there, and it’s likely more confusing than all of the weird conspiracy theories we are drawing up.

In the video you linked to, his hand projects over a black microphone (when he is saying “Not at the moment.”) in the SAME way as it does over the grey microphone in the other video view.
BOTH videos have the exact same anomoly.
Something is being faked here.

To me, the most likely thing is news outlet XYZ got that footage, but their microphone didn’t have the little plastic thing with the XYZ logo, so someone was tasked to put it in and the video got released when it was only halfway done and they had already converted the video to layers, or something like that...and they released the unfinished layered version that had been put back together in the wrong order.
Or something.
To me, it has more the stink of media personnel stupidity the more I think about it.
The hedging in that statement leads me to believe it’s not the simplest explanation, and having worked with post-production leads in a major news outlet, I can tell you that they employ very sharp people. Image is everything. This was done by a rank amateur.

I see it the same way.
I think both videos have been “touched” and I think it’s weird. No good reason to do it, unless they are just practicing with fake videos to see if anyone notices or cares.
Some folks here are saying that this is such a minor thing that we shouldn’t make a big deal out of it. There is some truth to that. But I think we are now in a world where you can’t even trust your own lyin’ eyes. That seems like a big deal to me.
Back when President Bush talked about WMD being in Iraq, one might sense that saying there were WMD, or saying that there were not, there might (possibly) be policy reasons for giving the public information that might or might not be true. I can grasp that possibility. Sometimes (maybe) the government might have a good reason to hide the truth. But I think we are now at a point where the government lies all the time, and is practicing and improving its ability to continually feed falsehoods to the public. Not because they have a “good reason” but simply because they like having the ability. Not good.
The are grooming us( the great unwashed) to accept altered video as real.

If it were done by a rank amateur, then it is one of “ours” or one of “theirs”.
If it is “ours”...what was their goal? To paint Biden in a worse light than he is already viewed by making “us” think that “their” side is doctoring things to cover up Biden’s feebleness?
If it is “theirs”...what was their goal? To send us scurrying around in circles so they could point at us to say “Look, they really are unhinged”?
In the wake of events over the last year, there is no level to which I believe “they” won’t sink to.
I don't believe that is the case, they can do a far superior job when it counts, I have seen it. This is just a fun and antagonizing attempt at making conservatives look like fools and it is working in some circles.
That had crossed my mind as well. One of their goals is to pollute information of ALL kinds so that NOTHING is believed.
If they desensitize people to fraudulent audiovisuals...that makes the job easier.
So you believe this is “their” side putting it out there for laughs and to make us chase our tails?
That is a possible motive too.
My guess as to why is that the people running this show are running out of real time footage that shows this man acting fit. His rare appearances in public are problematic.

I don’t have a problem with those that say this is waste of time. They may be right about that. What I do have problem is when they tell me I am crazy and didn’t see what I did see. That is gas lighting. IT WAS ALTERED. And I don’t know why...
