The are grooming us( the great unwashed) to accept altered video as realI don't believe that is the case, they can do a far superior job when it counts, I have seen it. This is just a fun and antagonizing attempt at making conservatives look like fools and it is working in some circles.

That had crossed my mind as well. One of their goals is to pollute information of ALL kinds so that NOTHING is believed.
If they desensitize people to fraudulent audiovisuals...that makes the job easier.
