Governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem made headlines in 2020 for keeping her state open during the COVID-19 outbreak and opposing Faucian dictates about masks, stay-at-home orders, and church closures. To this, conservatives applauded — and rightly so. But does holding the line during a pandemic in a state with less than 900 thousand people — about the size of Charlotte, North Carolina — now warrant the frenetic swell of support for Noem among conservatives to be the next vice president or even president?

I’d love to have his dad as Secretary of the Treasury.
It would be hard to beat DeSantis. He is an excellent governor, genuinely excellent.
I’ve been wondering about Noem since I saw her comments (I think) last month criticizing Republicans for not getting immigration reform done when they had the Congress. Wasn’t sure just what she had in mind for “immigration reform.”
What about Kyrsten “Boots” Sinema?
Getting immigration reform done would not have made a difference now quite honestly. The demonrats are making wholesale changes, they would have just changed it back.
At this point there is neither compromise nor comity with them. Either we go away, or they do.
DeSantis saved Florida from the creepy prevert Gillum thank God.
If The Donald does not run then Desantis is my man. A female like Noem would not be a bad draw.
Pompeo fat? He’s barrel chested, not fat
and is anyone ever ex-CIA?
Nah on that crap article. You keep putting this voting nonsense on your replies. You voted too right? ;)
This.😒
Noem for VP, DeSantis for POTUS....
But let’s get one thing damn straight....the Dems
would NEVER let meager population issues stop them
from choosing a candidate from within their own ranks.
Don’t forget that.
At this point, I don't believe there is any "contributing" to a victory factor. If every single Republican, minus the Rinos, aren't fully on fire everywhere to get rid of a dem in WH in 2024, no matter who the repub nominee is, then we have other bigger problems. IF it isn't too late by then, 2024 should be America's true last gasp election.
I would have said that about the last election but it did not happen. Some of ours were even sitting on the sideline because they thought voting was wasted effort.
I agree with you about DeSantis and Noem. Good pair.
Noem got herself in a tight situation with the
transgender issue w/Tucker Carlson. But she has time
to either come out on top or just get past that issue.
To many of us being from a small state is not a large
issue. Having the executive experience is what counts.
I add to her experience that she has a good heart, is an honest soul and loves this Republic as an enemy to the globalist oligarchy. Of course I believed that about Trump, too.
Again concur.
