These faked videos are just that, fakes. Never mind that they might resemble reality - insofar as they differ, we would typically have no means of identifying exactly how they differ from truth. So we are left with an illusion of seeing something, but to lesser or great degree it will be false like a false memory.
We really don’t need more lies in our lives.
