NASA has a live broadcast going with some incredible video of the Perseverance Landing with cameras recording everything from different angles....
That brief moment that watched this was like watching a guy driving alone in the car next to me with a mask on. Virtue signaling.
Creative reactions to the Mars Rover:
There was a funny meme or tweet I saw one time that said, “Somewhere, someone is wearing a mask in the shower.”
I almost don’t blame them. Pres. Frauden would likely fire any of them on the spot for not wearing their mask, even though Jen “circle back” Psacki never wears one during her press conferences.
Phenomenal footage, especially the descent video.
Blame it on the camera man.........
You know, it really is HISTORIC in that we can sit in our homes and view real time images of another planet ON THE PLANET. Most previous generations were lucky if they even saw an image of it from a telescope.
But in light of the current events going on here on this planet and specifically in the US, I find it extremely hard to be excited over it...

That is, if the Xiden Adminstration doesn't stop him. And apparently they're already making it hard on 'em.
It’s nothing new here. Post a science or astronomy thread and many people suddenly become 3rd graders again, with potty jokes, giggles etc. I find it quite odd, but sometimes amusing watching adults act like 5 year olds. It’s a very strange phenomena.
This is fantastic. Since the descent could not be controlled from Earth, the planning and programming had to be meticulous. Even if you’re not a space geek, you have to admit this demonstrates yet again that no one is our equal in technology.
We put a vehicle on Mars in the coolest way possible. It’s a technological marvel and testament to our STEM programs. STEM is the last bastion of education in America and as we are seeing the leftist idiots with a lot of money saying math is racist shows the true intent of the left.
Considering that Mars’s atmosphere is made up of 95.32% carbon dioxide he was wearing the mask to make it seen like he’s there.
It won’t be deployed for several weeks, but one of the coolest things has to be the helicopter / drone the rover is carrying.
This will be the first time mankind has flown a heavier-than-air aircraft on an alien planet. Pretty crazy stuff as the atmospheric pressure on Mars is about 1% of Earth’s pressure.
And they told us Stanley Kubrick was dead!
Right, dopey message.
Why do they need to keep cutting to a panel of “experts” to give color commentary on the red planet? What is it, a game show? Why not just do a voice over and cut the video length in half?
doing a broadcast with masks on... absolutely fkng ridiculous... and the “Pictures” were very few...
I was told scientists are working to convert carbon diozide to oxygen. Too much like science fiction to me. And then won’t they need some water once in a while? I’ll believe colonization when I see the first McDonald’s going up.
