Porch pirates, beware: this is 'Murica.
Watch this thief get caught red-handed by a homeowner who comes out with a locked and loaded rifle:
[Warning: Language]
Thought 1: I love how the criminal's ride totally ditches him.
Thought 2: That homeowner should have had his rifle at the ready and positioned himself behind cover lest the porch pirate was packing.
Thought 3: God bless America.

Tired of having to dispose of your jack o lantern every Halloween?
Well, carve it with an Amazon swoosh and it will be gone by morning.

If you have a lot of toxic chemicals or electronic waste, put in in a big Amazon box and leave it on your front porch.
Its an edited video. The original is at least 59 sec. this is only 36 sec. Here is the original
I dont do twitter any longer.
It’s a good thing that the guy with the rifle was black. Otherwise he would be in jail and his gun would be confiscated
....and the car he came in drives off. Bwaaaa!
When I worked for a catalog company, people sometimes called to say their packages had been stolen. I always got a laugh when I suggested packaging up a box of dog poo for the thieves to steal.
What is great, is they both seem to be black....
I have heard of people doing that; what is really hilarious is when the box is rigged to explode when the porch pirate picks it up.
That was funny...
These guys are known, in slang terms, as porch pirates, as they steal packages left by fedex, ups, etc. There’s a guy who has fixed their wagons with his unbelievable bait packages. The reactions of these criminals are priceless.
The fake, booby trapped packages can be seen here:

People have gotten in serious trouble for lethal booby traps: 6 months to 30 years.

His getaway driver got away!
(The home-owner should have shot out his tires.)

Hilarious, I agree! But I feel obligated to mention that rigging a package to explode could get you in serious legal trouble.
Rigging it so the dog poo gets mixed with water when the package is moved, and using packaging that takes about 5 minutes for a spilled liquid to leak out, is perfectly legal though ;)
I still like the idea of a big angry rat snake or raccoon in a box.
Thanks for the link to the longer version.
