Matt Gaetz was on with Bannon for the past half hour. The gist is they both think that "the best defense is a good offense" and that the centerpiece must be exposing the truth about the stolen election.
The GOPe Senate HATES this idea, and says Gaetz cannot do it while he is a sitting Congressman.
Matt Gaetz says that he will resign from Congress immediately in order to defend Trump in the Senate.
If he resigns, couldn’t a special election wait until after the trial?
He wins in the Senate, runs again again in the House and wins bigly...

This is not a "trial", of course, and whatever it is we are pretty sure of the outcome, so Gaetz has a lot to gain and his reputation is not much at risk.
The matter is before a "court" which has no authority or personal jurisdiction, presided over by a "judge" who is a political hack of the bogus "prosecutor". That hack will manage the contest exactly as the anti-MAGA's direct; including, no doubt, many findings that Gaetz is out of order.
Even with a supposed "conviction", it is hard to believe the results of this hearing would disqualify a citizen from running as a presidential candidate unless, of course, the USSC is effectively expanded by Biden-Harris.
If Gaetz pulls this off, his future career will know no bounds!

It is sad how many question courage. America is being flushed down the fascist drain, a man stands against the evil, and he is questioned as if he is foolish. That is disgusting and all to telling of the give-up mindset the media manipulations have accomplished.

I’m not so sure his politics would fly at the state level in FL, so the House seat seems to be the right fit. Not sure what’s up.

There are some blue spots (Tampa, Palm Beach, Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee and a few others), but elsewhere basically ranges from light pink to deep red.

No. A special election has to be caused per the Constitution.
Stolen or not, lie or not, issue is sedition - and Dems need only one patsy to testify under oath of being motivated to insurrection by his words.
Trump’s only defense is that the trial is unconstitutional - exemplified by Chief Justice refusing to participate in what would be his obligation if it were constitutional.
You can’t win vs a kangaroo court without invalidating its authority & outcome. Trump should be taking this to SCOTUS immediately.

Gaetz would do fine at the state level.
Keep in mind that the Florida Governor is Ron DeSantis, who was a leader of the Freedom Caucus before being elected Governor.
people are not what they used to be. They have all been brainwashed by communist leftist ideas. Sadly that includes conservatives as well. Only to a lessor degree than others, but still affected just the same.
