Sometimes kids get in trouble and you have to come down on them.
Depending on the situation, you may have to come down on them
harder than you really want to, but they have to get the
message and get back on track.
So I do have some empathy for him, if that was the case. If
as I suspect they aren’t very close to him because he’s gone
all the time, and then he wanted them to act like they were
really close, they may have resented that a lot.
That is his lawyers WERE low quality.
Well we have gone full circle. I believe the #NeverTrump movement began when Cruz vomited garbage about the Chicago riot scum blaming Trump for it during the presidential campaign. Kind of sounds familiar.

Everyone I’ve ever met since the 1970’s who wore their Christianity on their sleeve, proclaimed how pious they were, or had a holier-than-thou attitude... every one of them eventually turned out to be a back-stabbing, mean-spirited, SOB in the end.
Whether academia, my personal life, business, etc., the same pattern always played out.
I don’t know Cruz or Pence, but these two fools fall into the same category.

From what i understand, the kid was up most of the day with them other who was there supporting Ted- it had been a long day- the kid was tired-
