Carlo Joseph Morelli passed away the evening of January 10th, 2021. He was a man of many titles but his favorites were dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. Carlo is survived by his three daughters, Susan Bowers, Jennifer Flickner, and Dorothy Maloy, his two sons, Michael Morelli and Matthew Morelli, his five grandchildren, Brandon Morelli, Nicholas Maloy, Andrew Maloy, Annie Flickner, and Kaitlyn Koroleski, and his great-granddaughter Sophie Green. Funeral services will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 13th and immediately after the service he will be buried at Morton Cemetery in the historic district of Richmond, Texas. Carlo's penchant for laughter, great food, good stories, and boundless exuberance for life will continue on in the hearts of all who loved him as family and all who called him their friend.
Funeral services for Carlo Morelli will be held in the chapel of St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, January 13th. All are welcome to attend. The church address is 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079. Their phone number is 281-497-1500. The service should last about one hour. Immediately following the funeral service we will drive to Morton Cemetery at 401 N. 2nd Street, Richmond, TX 77469. If you wish to send flowers, please send them to the cemetery office located at 900 Morton Street, Richmond, TX 77469. The cemetery phone number is 281-239-3648.

Oh noooo. I loved him! We used to have great threads about food and prepping for holiday meals. He was a lively man- will miss him.

Loved the stories, the recipes, the help with cooking dilemmas or questions. I thought of him this Thanksgiving, and Christmas and the Stories of the big Italian feasts, the love, and warmth of their celebrations.
I hope he is enjoying a big Italian reunion in Heaven. He was one of my favorites here on FR.
