These are dark days in the history of the United States, and no one is feeling them more intensely than Mike Pence.
On Wednesday, the vice president admirably turned aside the president’s high-intensity demands that he shred the Constitution. Trump was pushing Pence to usurp the states’ power over the disposition of their electoral votes — in effect, to claim dictatorial power to reverse President-elect Biden’s victory. Pence’s fidelity to his constitutional oath so enraged Trump that the president publicly rebuked him even as an insurrectionist mob was descending on the Capitol. Press reports indicate that the rioters, upon overwhelming security forces and entering the building, set about searching for Pence — who, by then, had been whisked away while members of Congress were also being safeguarded.

He has already been impeached. If they do it again how would that keep him from running again.
As a bad example maybe?
Conviction is what could change.
Another cuck-magazine cuck joining the cuckfest.
Yes, yes the conduct we witnessed is impeachable. We need to impeach all democrats
Trump should pardon himself, and anyone else he thinks deserves one, go on TV and resign, telling everyone the system is currently broken and don’t count on Republicans to save you because they won’t...
even as an insurrectionist mob was descending on the Capitol.
Dear andy,
Don’t make them come again!
Honestly, we see the propaganda machine turned to 11.
Et tu Andrew. Color me not surprised.
Conviction on a Trumped up charge.. Lol. Sorry.
We are seeing who our enemies are.
So Mr. Mcacarthy, you have tried to find evidence that this election was stolen and cannot.
Well, does one need more evidence that their house has been robbed than to arrive home and find their possessions are gone, I may not have seen the perpetrator, but that does not mean I have no proof.
In this instance sir, I just have to wonder what it is about mail-in balloting without signature verification that really needs much more exploration? What is it about a state court changing the rules of an election just before the election that needs much more exploration? What is it in the Constitution that is unclear about the role of the State Legislatures in forming election laws?
Forget election night and Dominion machines and ballot dumps and stopped counts and satellites etc. Forget that for sake of argument.
What more do I need? Tell me Mr. McCarthy.
As for Trump and his conduct. Again, assume that it was inciting an insurrection.
The urgency expressed in condemning him and removing him is staggering. Was there and has there been any urgency in prosecuting and removing from office those who perpetrated a coup d’etat LONG before Trump did what he allegedly did yesterday? And keep in mind, the coup against Trump is no conspiracy theory.
Mr. McCarthy, I would argue that your willful application of a double standard is in effect, confirming for the masses of Trump supporters exactly what you allege he is falsely telling them.
In short you are doing exactly what you state that nobody is doing,
This is getting uglier by the second.
Yes, I think you’re right about McCarthy. I shouldn’t have been so polite.)
If only Andrew McCarthy were so eloquent regarding the massive voter fraud.
Speaking of voter fraud, why did so many Congress Critters yesterday talk about the need to reform our state election system?
If there was zero voter fraud in Nov 2020, then why do we need to reform our election laws and rules?
There's just not enough time -- nor do I think except for the most rabid (and there are many, for sure!) members of the Democrat Communist Party, most Democrat Communists really don't have a taste for another round of the time-consuming impeachment process as they would rather get on with the business of converting America from a Republic to a socialist state.
As for the 25th Amendment process, I think that despite the gulf between him and Trump, Pence doesn't want anything to do with removing Trump ... either out of fear or because he's too much of a coward as yesterday's events revealed clearly.
FUAM,I won’t waste my time with his idiocy as another swamp creature piling on.
So this is the pettiness that awaits all of us for four years.. Rulebreakers&prevaricators dictating the rules and doing as they will?
The Silent Majority stirs.. the pillars of gubamint shudder and quake under the loads of BS.
The market goes up?
Go figure.
It is gaslighting.
Everyone should be very familiar with the term because it is now the predominant form of psychological warfare in society.
Essentially, it is a thief stealing your stuff, only to have those around you call you the thief when you try to take your stuff back.
