Alternate Electors NOT Forwarded to Congress
Frank Thorp ^

Posted on 01/05/2021 5:20:59 PM PST by TigerClaws

NEW: The office of the National Archives tells @NBCNews it received alternate slates of electors from the GOP in 5 states: AZ GA NM NV PA

BUT, those slates were not forwarded to Congress b/c the Electoral Count Act allows them to only pass along slates certified by the states. 170 926 2.3K

Frank Thorp V @frankthorp · 4h Alternate slates of electors received from entities that are not the state government (the governor or the state legislature) are considered private correspondence, so were not made public until obtained by @PeteWilliamsNBC and @NBCNews via a FOIA request.

The constitution says that the state legislatures determine how the electors are chosen and certified. Many state legislatures have passed laws requiring the governor or the Secretary of State to certify the states electors. It’s called delegation of power and is completely constitutional.

I think there is a good chance of that happening sadly. I think it is probably necessary.

Today, in a long line at a store, a young man struck up a conversation with me. He was in an Army uniform, I think a sergeant and he was complaining about high the cost of living had become in Nevada because of all the influx from California. He then mentioned this horrible election making things worse and said there was going to be a civil war in this country. So I asked him what the military was going to do if Biden was installed by our wicked congress critters. He said that neither he nor any of his fellow soldiers were going to follow any illegal orders, and then he said that Biden could never be the lawful president. I asked him if there was a civil war would he shoot us. Again, he reiterated his statement about not following unlawful orders.

Then later at the bank, I was waiting to see a bank officer because I was having problems with card working. There was a man about my age who was also waiting, and he was complaining about his card not working and about the whole digital age we are living in. He then said that a mad as he was at the bank, it was nothing compared to his anger about this election. I agreed with him most emphatically! He told me he was a Vietnam Vet and he hated war, but that if Biden was put in office, there was going to be a civil war, and that despite his age, he would fight. He looked quite fit and able, and I actually think that old Vietnam vets, if they were still in shape, as he was, they would quite a formidable force in their own right.

Anyway, based on these two conversations today, neither of which I started, I think there is real unrest and that these quislings in DC had better think twice about trying to impose biden on us, they may very well eventually face a firing squad if they do. They shouldn’t count on the US military.

They do t make the decision on what is an illegal damage of electors. By law they can only forward the electors that were certified by the states.

The National Archive can forward a governor's slate of electors all they want, but they are an unconstitutional slate of electors because they were not picked by the state legislatures.

They should be rejected by the VP.

What is/are the source(s) of the alternate slates of electors, if not the State legislatures or governors?

Pathetic sophistry applied to the treasonous acts of hundreds, perhaps thousands...

In addition, the alternate Electors from a State can be presented by the Congressional representatives of those States— bypassing this Electoral Act’s functionary making the decision not to pass them on, even as received from the State’s Legistatures from which some of them were submitted.

These illegally certified Electors were determined by election laws which were not, as the Constitution requires, written and directed by the State Legislatures. And on that ground, provable by massive evidence the Electors may be rejected— by the President of the Senate, who has PLENARY POWERS that supersede the Electoral Act. This is the test, and one which will throw out certain States and bring the totals remaining into a different outcome.

They are lying... National Archives is required to transmit all certificates of electors to congress. They have NO discretion authority.

3 U.S. Code § 6 - Credentials of electors; transmission to Archivist of the United States and to Congress; public inspection.

“...and the Archivist of the United States at the first meeting of Congress thereafter shall transmit to the two Houses of Congress copies in full of each and every such certificate so received at the National Archives and Records Administration.”

You see, your niceness is the reason why the democrats get away with all the things they have done, they have pushed and pushed, and now look at what they have done. They have blatantly stolen an election and are attempting to steamroll a senile corrupt old man into the oval office, and all the nice Republicans such as you are just going to write letters. And don’t bother wasting your money on donating to candidates you want in office. If the Democrats get away with this, there will NEVER be a fair election again. Never has there been such cheating before this in a first world nation, whose citizenry are well educated, prosperous, sophisticated. If this is allowed to stand, then our govt is no longer accountable to us, and we are not citizens, we are subjects and serfs.

Quit being nice. They should be afraid of us.

I will not waste one more of my precious votes on a party that doesn’t believe my vote is worth fighting for.

***************

My feeling as well. We need a new party that stands for something and is willing to fight for its voters. Wouldn’t it be nice to vote for a party like that?

Alternate Electors NOT Forwarded to Congress

Question for attorney-freepers: Given the alternate electoral votes were not forwarded to Congress, what was the purpose of having those Trump electors vote?

And, they do not have this power. The Legislatures pass along the slates of Electors. If the Sec. of State and a Governor do without their OK... then these are ILLEGAL Electors. Article II of the US Constitution which requires the State Legislatures to nominate Electors (chosen as the State Legislatures may direct— that is by election, or, in the case of a rigged illegal fraud election... by THEIR choosing).

That’s right, settle down, kick back, and enjoy living in Venezuela. Nice game plan on your part. You’re no Spartan, are you.

Exactly— these are Archive demonrat career bureaucrats making this decision. They will be called on it— like, right away tomorrow, and substantiated by the State’s legislatures who have filings sent to their Congressional reps and Senators.

The Electoral Count Act is not in the Constitution. The electors are selected by the legislature of each state through their approved state constitutional elections.... not the governor, sec of state or some judge.

"Wouldn’t it be nice to vote for a party like that?"

If I wasn't so old, I'd move to a Red State, but then it probably wouldn't matter, because with voter fraud, it wouldn't be a Red State much longer anyway.

Ummmmm..... can somebody find a reliable 3rd party source to validate this? I checked both Pete Williams and NBC, and check numerous search engines. Nothing. Squat. Zippo.
