If there's one religion in America that the liberal media sees as fair game for mockery and disrespect, it's Christianity. And so it was that on CNN's New Day this morning, co-host John Berman felt free to say:
"Merry Freaking Christmas."
Berman did so for the purpose of scoring a cheap political point about President Trump's pardons. His notion was that, given the continuing wrangling over the Covid relief package, the unemployed and members of the armed services are unsure of when their relief or pay raises will be coming. But for those receiving pardons from the president . . . "Merry Freaking Christmas."

On a personal note: as per a CNN story, Berman is Jewish, as am I. It is particularly embarrassing and shameful to me that a fellow Jew would make such a vulgar and disrespectful comment.
I apologize on behalf of all Jews, and to all who celebrate, wish a Very Merry Christmas.

On a side note, I moved to Scottsdale, AZ. seven years ago. In looking for a good barber, I went to five different shops, before settling on 'Boris', who is Jewish (as were each of the other barbers at every shop I went to.
I've been going to Boris for over five years now and we have many interesting political chats(He also is a conservative). He and I agree on one thing in particular:

Yes, that’s a frustration for me. And it’s made me a black sheep in certain parts of my family!
I think traditionally Jews in America were located in big cities and those folks tend to be Democrats. Some cultural habits are difficult to break.
