Of course, how else could you dumb down a populace. You should see the billboards around Michigan State University in Lansing.

>>Baker, who has been growing weed since he was 13 in Georgia

I thought minors weren’t going to be able to use this product.

And in the whiskey business, if you ran an illegal still before distilling was legal in your state, you wouldn’t be able to obtain the license to run a legit one later.

Long frigging article.

In 10 - 20 years it will be legal.

They can’t keep up the charade forever with BS arguments like “gateway drug” or “psychologically addictive.”

They really do not have an argument against it, so they make them up with pseudo science to support it, like “gateway drug.” 99.99% of all heroin deaths also ate a cheeseburger, is that a gateway drug? Then there is “psychologically addictive,” what is there which feels good and is fun that isn’t “psychologically addictive?” Go-Cart racing, roller coasters, movies, music, sushi, ice-cream?

The US -gubbermint- in all their professional ethical and scientific ways have conducted over 3,000 various studies and tests on this substance over many decades. It is, hands down, THE most studied, tested, and analyzed drug there is, and the conclusion is that Tylenol kills more people (not a joke or over exaggeration), there are ZERO signs of physical addition, it has some medicinal uses, the side effects while under its influence are calming and people are aware they are under the influence (unlike alcohol)...

I would be more worried about a drug people take for restless leg syndrome, than pot! In fact, I would be more worried about 1/2 of the over the counter drugs you can buy in any CVS or Walgreens.

Is this a great state or what? Don’t knock it till you’ve lived it. Lot of California growers escaped here as well to escape govt regulation. I went out of my way to live here again and retire. Best choice I ever made. Governor Stitt rocks and won’t lock us down. We have legal and fair elections. Med weed passed only with the help of conservatives.

>>started growing high-grade strains of cannabis with names like Purple Punch, Cookies and Cream and Miracle Alien.

Odd names for medicine. Is he sure that his customers are using it STRICTLY for medicinal purposes?

If you use Hydroxychloroquine for off label purposes they will come after you and your doctor!

I’m sorry, but I just can’t have much respect for people who have to drug themselves to get through their day. And—what a coincidence!—it renders them far more docile and tractable for political manipulation.

>>nearly 10 percent of the state’s population—have acquired medical marijuana cards over the last two years

Why don’t they research the underlying cause of so many ill people rather than just masking the symptoms?

>>“Turns out rednecks love to smoke weed. That’s the thing about cannabis: It really bridges socio-economic gaps.”

And this is a surprise to whom?

Hank Williams, Ray Price, Willie Nelson...

the nickname wacky weed...

The weed smokers I’ve known through the decades have always been a mixed bag politically - some left-wingers, but also some libertarians and conservatives. There’s never been anything inherently left-wing about marijuana.

>>The only other thing that does it is handguns. All types of people are into firearms. All types of people are into cannabis.”

All types of people are into Netflix.
All types of people are into craft beer.
All types of people are into...

It’s a meaningless comparison.

There is not criminal about gun ownership.

“Oh, you have to get a license”

Same with marriage and driving.

So apparently, they do smoke marijuana in Muskogee.

Do they take their trips on LSD?

Legal pot isn’t red or blue...

It’s simply another step of getting the government out of people’s private lives.

Until now, Oklahoma was most famous for Sooner football and a musical whose original story was written by a actual gay cowboy.

My first guess was OK! I had an inside tip.

Just a few years ago, while working at a resort in the Sierra mountains, a hiker from Oklahoma dropped by to resupply. He remarked how redneck OK was, and gave an example. He said that if police stopped you in your vehicle, and found rolling papers and no tobacco present, they would arrest you for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Fast forward: I received a call from a friend that is currently working in OKC, OK, looking for carpenter help. He is constructing a commercial marijuana grow in a large warehouse renting for $12,000 a month plus utilities. At the time of the call he had just finished repairing a leak in the overhead watering system and was fast at work assembling the light system. He inquired whether I would be interested in assembling the table system. I’m thinking about going after Christmas, and then slingshot to the Trump Rally on Jan 6th. Win - win?

The pot store where I usually shop is owned and run by conservatives. They offer senior and military discounts and have an incredible selection - picked up some 30% THC Indica yesterday, along with some wicked dab chunks and 3 packs of edibles for the Mrs. Christmas stocking. Merry Christmas, Noble Free.

Your job sucks.

Your marriage is on the rocks.

Your kids are in trouble.

You buy some weed and smoke it.

You feel better for awhile.

The next day......

Your job still sucks.

Your marriage is still on the rocks.

Your kids are still in trouble.

Your dealer is richer.
