4 volunteers develop FACIAL PARALYSIS after taking Pfizer Covid-19 jab, prompting FDA to recommend ‘surveillance for cases’

Four trial participants who received the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine experienced facial paralysis, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The FDA said the issue should be monitored as the jab becomes more widely available.

The potentially concerning cases were revealed after the US drug regulator published an analysis of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine ahead of a meeting to consider emergency use authorization for the jab in the United States.

According to the documents, Bell’s palsy, a form of temporary facial paralysis, was reported by four participants during phase 3 trials. The individuals had been administered the jab, and no members of the placebo group experienced similar adverse effects.

The condition resembles a stroke, with most sufferers watching helplessly as one side of their face droops and their muscles go limp. In some rare situations, both sides of the face may become paralyzed. It is unclear what causes Bell’s palsy, although the temporary paralysis usually goes away on its own.

However, the FDA claimed that the frequency of the health issue is “consistent with the expected background rate in the general population,” and added that there was no clear evidence linking the coronavirus vaccine to the unpleasant medical condition. Still, the federal regulator recommended “surveillance for cases of Bell’s palsy with deployment of the vaccine into larger populations.”

The FDA noted the “numerical imbalance” of Bell’s palsy cases among the vaccine and placebo groups, but said there were no other “non-serious adverse events” that showed a similar pattern.

According to the documents, side effects are common but appear to be minor. Out of the trial participants, 84 percent experienced some kind of reaction. After receiving the jab, 63 percent of trial subjects reported fatigue and 55 percent said they suffered from headaches. Chills were reported by 32 percent of participants, 24 percent complained of joint pain and 14 percent developed a fever.

Overall, the jab appears to have received good marks from the FDA. In its report, the regulator said that the two-dose vaccine is about 50 percent effective even after just the first injection. The vaccine is believed to be 95 percent effective after the second dose, administered three weeks later. The FDA also found that the jab reduced the risk of severe Covid-19 symptoms after the first dose.

On Tuesday, the United Kingdom became the first country in the world to begin administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to the general population.

During chem warfare training in the military, we were taught that the first person to unmask after the all clear was given, was the person of the least rank.

Sounds cold and heartless, but the thought was that if someone was to die, better that it be someone who has the least impact on completing the mission.

With that in mind, I submit that the first folks to be vaccinated in the U.S. be members of the House of Representatives.

I had this. I looked in the mirror one morning and one side of my face wasn’t working. A bit of panic set in...stroke? wtf is going on? I was drooling, couldn’t speak correctly, or even crack a smile on one side. Do I need to call an ambulance? Wife took me to a doctor and he informed me.

Like most, it went away over a couple of weeks. For SOME, it never goes away.

BHT is effective against herpes as well as shingles. In case of herpes it will suppress it, in some cases forever and in many for a long time. The catch with herpes is that once you got it they will remain within your system, but BHT will do just nicely as well as with shingles. BHT will kill many LIPID covered viruses with covid-19 being one of them.

Been taking it off and on whenever the need arises like right now for going on thirty years. It is available at Amazon and I suggest you read the commentaries from people who it has help.

Amongst others you will find one comment from some dumb and ignorant user of BHT who thought that more is better and because of it experienced some bad side effects, comparable to taking a handful of Aspirin. But staying within a range of between 250 mg to around 900 mg shouldn’t be a problem.

You reply, and more information will be available.

As I suspected: “Ball’s palsy and Pfizer vaccine ==> No ... causal relationship”. But that is what I expected from Russia Today.

Page 41: https://www.fda.gov/media/144337/download

“Bell’s palsy
– Vaccine n=4, placebo n=0
– Observed frequency consistent with background rate in general population
– No clear basis upon which to conclude a causal relationship at this time”

Right?? I just had covid in Nov. If I didn’t have to quarantine and could have come to the kitchen and made my own meals etc it would have been a normal bad cold or flu. I had body pain, fever and extreme fatigue. It wasn’t worth a jab rushed to market with potential lifelong neurological side effects. I don’t get it.

Is it true that the USA death rate for 2020 so far is exactly in line with the rates of most of the previous years?? This needs to get out. On the news all I hear is that people are dropping like flies and we lose a 9/11 of folks daily.

I really want to know if it’s true, that there has been zero increase in deaths for this year.

For 2020 “excess deaths” look at

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm

Chart: “Weekly number of deaths (from all causes)”

The deaths are higher this year, significantly. Don’t let people tell you otherwise. But its a losing fight here on FR.

” And then there’s the anaphylactic reaction of a handful of medical personnel in England given the shot. “

Experienced anaphylaxis as a teenager after an injection. Probably only survived because I collapsed in the doorway of the small-town doctor, and he had epinephrine on hand.
