We’re not going to primary our way out of this. Trump backing a bunch of losers in primaries would have just made him look weak and given the GOPe license to totally abandon him.

THis has been a fun week, today has been awesome and I suspect we have turned the corner and are in our battle of the midway. EO 13848 generates report in a couple weeks...the Hiroshima.

Valid absentee ballots are not pristine so that gives you a clue. My 87 yr old mother has voted absentee for the past 6 years. The ballot arrives folded in the envelope. She takes it out, goes ahead and selects those in which she is sure of her vote, then studies the other races and makes those selections once she is confident in her decision. Non-partisan races, judges, and amendment questions can take a lot of time to research. She probably removes the ballot 7 or 8 times before she reviews, signs, and mails it. The fold indention becomes more pronounced, the ballot edges become creased, and it is obvious it has been handled. I doubt many valid ballots arrive at the registrar’s office in pristine condition. ALL of them will have a fold crease.
