A peer-reviewed study measuring the effectiveness of a controversial drug cocktail that includes hydroxychloroquine concluded that the treatment lowered hospitalizations and mortality rates of coronavirus patients.
The study, set to be published in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents in December, determined that “Low-dose hydroxychloroquine combined with zinc and azithromycin was an effective therapeutic approach against COVID-19.”
A total of 141 patients diagnosed with the coronavirus were treated with the three-drug cocktail over a period of five days and compared to a control group of 377 people who tested positive for the virus but were not given the treatment.
The study found that “the odds of hospitalisation of treated patients was 84% less than in the untreated patients,” and only one patient died from the group being treated with the drugs compared to 13 deaths in the untreated group...

“...500 mg Quercetin daily ( supplement for HCQ)
50 mg Zinc Daily
5000 iu D3 daily
1000 mg C. 2x daily
600 mg N-A-C for immunity lung and liver support
100 mg K-2 (gets the D3 into the cells)....”
Yep. That’s what I went to just as soon as I was diagnosed with the crap. I was already hitting the C and D3 pretty good everyday anyway.
It took me 12 days to get thru it and a couple of those days were pretty darn rough, but it never felt life-threatening to me, and I’m 70 years old with no underlying health conditions.
In my community, HCQ is as "controversial" as using aspirin for a headache. I know a dozen who have used it, following Dr. Zelenko -- who is personally known by one of my friends -- others quercetin. None were hospitalized for even a day.
Africa has a very low COVID death rate also from Hydroxychloroquine for Malaria.
Dr. Zelenko brought the HCQ Zinc Az combo treatment to our attention many months ago and it was ridiculed and ignored. Could have saved lots of lives but it just wasn’t politically correct at the time.
Nothing wrong with the above, except:
(1) Reduce Quercetin to 300mg, if possible
(2) Make sure Zinc has copper
(3) Don't take C, Zinc and Quercetin at the same time as D3 or K2. The former are water-soluble, the latter oil-soluble. Take them together and you will piss most of it out.
It should be prescribed BEFORE waiting for test results for higher-risk groups. (age over 45, or under 45 with one or more co-morbidities.)
They have been explicitly using it for prophylaxis since April.
100,000+ deaths because of the “Orange Man Bad” reflex.
Leftists are evil.
Yes and No. it is not used because HCQ actually works and it would suppress the amount of cases being falsely reported. They would not be able to continue the HOAX.
Trump: I told you so!
They have been explicitly using it for prophylaxis since April.
Every country should be!
Everyone (in vulnerable age/health groups) should be on some form of prophylaxis.
Controversial only because President Donald J. Trump told people about it at a press conference.
If Hillary or Joe Biden or the WHO or Fauci ... anybody but Trump ... had mentioned it first, then hydroxychloroquine would be the recommended first line of defense against COVID mandated for use in EVERY hospital in the freaking world.
Prove I am wrong.
I started the regimen myself but have not yet added the K2.
I haven't asked doc for a script for HCQ and ZPack.
An Ivermectin study released three weeks ago found similar reductions.
This means if your doc is a leftist then you’re 84% more likely to have severe covid symptoms. Now that would make for an excellent study.
I was there in 1969 and never received it to the best of my knowledge.
