“Again”??? Are you nucking futs? That is their standard procedure! As long as they get their benefits, they couldn’t possibly care less about US.

Trump is with the Republican Party until the Dems are destroyed. Then we start the MAGA party and put an end to the spineless GOP.

The GOP are the Washington Generals to the Democrats Harlem Globetrotters, they are the owned opposition.
The game is rigged.

I think sidney is making them nervous. Her effort is not limited to Democrats.

They can’t wait for Biden to get there. I’ll bet we see the GOP section at the SOTU applaud Biden on a majority of his policy bullet points.

Of course. Those scumbags only wish to keep their jobs, and keep the revenue stream from selling influence. Backing President Trump in an effort to help the country is not part of their agenda. They DON’T CARE. Too much risk of being targeted by the media if they support America.

At this point, I’m not sure if I hate Republicans or Democrats more.

Not to generalize, as there are a small percentage who are fighting for Trump, but as a whole, it’s difficult to find words to describe just how vile they are.

They’re not cowards.

They’re IN cahoots with the democrats.

Look, when the democrats do what they do - in order to wrestle power away from US -for themselves, the Republican politicians gain it right along with them.

Those people we send to DC - to REPRESENT us have NO intention of representing us. They are there to get set up for life.

Think about it.. Say YOU run for the house or senate and get elected... what’s your salary gonna be - $175K?? Compared to what I make now, just... WOW. Not to mention all the luxuries that come with the job - paid for by the little people who hired you..

Then you and your family get Cadillac healthcare for the rest of your lives.. AND a fat pension for the rest of your lives..

And they ALL spend their years in DC making deals with special interests and big corporations- WHILE LEARNING WHERE AND WHEN TO “INVEST” and making killings every year.
They ALL come out way richer than they went in.

And we pay for it. Suckers. That’s all we are to them...

Our representatives have become our masters, as the idea of the citizen servant has been replaced by “lifelong public figure” (er, Deep State Swamp Dweller). Had we, the people, been visionary enough to see that continuing to elect “our guy” into office would inevitably lead to “our guy” getting corrupted ( it would take a special person not to fall prey to the tentacles that wrap around one’s testacles) we would have turned over the House and Senate every couple of years just to keep it arable. Sadly, now nothing grows there but the stench of decaying crops rotting in the field.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.”

Where are the Republican Politicians? Have they Deserted Us Again?

Mainstream Republican politicians have never, ever really supported the President. They have worked against him almost as often as they have worked with him. Right now most of them are keeping their heads down and planning for a post-Trump return to normal. What they don't realize is that Trump is the new normal, and their lack of support for him won't be forgotten any time soon.

They’re where they usually are when it’s time for a hard fight; they’re hiding under their desks and sticking their finger up to see which way the political winds are blowing. Most of them, not all by any means, simply have no interest in anything other than promoting their own careers no matter what that means for the survival of our republic. I hope this episode teaches all rank and file Rs that it is way past time to start primarying these career scumbag pols.

Even assuming some Republicans originally ran for office with the best of intentions, once they get in, greed, pride, lust, and idolatry gets the best of them. That’s just how power works.

The generous salary. The Cadillac health care. Every single meal is a “meeting” held in a $100 a plate restaurant, paid for by lobbyists. A constant flow of inside information, making them look like genius stock pickers. Campaign contributions in the millions, which they can divert to their family as wages as “campaign employees.”

And that is public knowledge. There are lots of perks that go on, but is not made public knowledge. I am sure many of their family get “consulting fees” from lobbyists. And I am sure there is no shortage of women who are attracted to the wealth, power, and celebrity that comes with political office.

DJT was never seduced by any of this stuff, because he always had it. He had fame, wealth, beautiful women, private jets and yachts.

He is in DC for us. He is the only one there watching out for the average hard-working American.

>> "It’s why Lindsey Graham is a 'fighter when convenient, such as during the Kavanaugh trial, but silent during times like now when doing so is inconvenient." <<

Silent during times like now? An odd claim in the light of this:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC/AP) - Sen. Lindsey Graham, who just won reelection in Tuesday’s election, said he is donating a half-million dollars to President Donald Trump’s legal defense fund.

Graham said would donate the money Thursday night so “we will have the resources to fight.” Let’s stand with President Trump. He stood for us. I am donating $500,000 tonight to President Trump's legal defense fund so we will have the resources to fight. Posted by Lindsey Graham on Thursday, November 5, 2020

During an appearance on Fox News Thursday night, Graham told Sean Hannity about the donation to fight allegations of wrongdoing that he called “earth-shattering.” “I’m here tonight to stand with President Trump. He stood with me. He’s the reason we’re going to have a Senate majority [alas, that's doubtful now],” Graham said. “He helped Senate Republicans we’re going to pick up house seats, because of the campaign that President Trump won.” [ Live5 News, WCSC]
