I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Republican politicians are cowards. When the going gets tough, they back down and don’t fight back. They don’t know how to fight the culture war and wouldn’t want to even if they did. That’s come up again now; in the republic’s darkest hour in decades, when the brazenness of the cheating and voter fraud is shocking and abhorrent, most Republicans have deserted Trump. We GOP voters are once again asking, “where are the Republican politicians?”
Now, to be fair, there are a few that have done a good job and are defending and trying to help Trump. Madison Cawthorne, a congressman-elect from North Carolina, was at the MAGA March in D.C., as was Rep. Gomert, a Republican from Texas. But no others were there. Every voter out there on the streets, supporting Trump and peacefully protesting voter fraud, was wondering the same questions- “Where are the Republican politicians? Why aren’t they here?”
That shouldn’t have been a surprise, even if it is incredibly disappointing. Unlike the Democrats, Republicans don’t know how to fight back or stand up for a cause even when it’s inconvenient.
Hence why W. Bush called himself a “compassionate conservative” and did little to combat illegal immigration, McCain refused to pull out all the stops to fight Obama, and Romney backed down quietly when challenged. It’s why Lindsey Graham is a “fighter” when convenient, such as during the Kavanaugh trial, but silent during times like now when doing so is inconvenient.

Where are the Republican Politicians? Have they Deserted Us Again?
They were never on our side!
“I despise hypocrites, so RINOs are worse to me.”
Valid point. And most Republicans are RINOs. Which brings to mind a question: If most Republicans are RINOs, aren’t they the true Republicans? That’s what a Republican is. The small minority that aren’t like the rest, wouldn’t they be RINOs? :)
where?
Some know they have nowhere to turn. The Evil Corrupt Paul Ryan lead them astray.

“Then we start the MAGA party “
Agreed. Time is now.
Get a MAGA line on every state ballot.
Even assuming some Republicans originally ran for office with the best of intentions, once they get in, greed, pride, lust, and idolatry gets the best of them. That’s just how power works.
The generous salary. The Cadillac health care. Every single meal is a “meeting” held in a $100 a plate restaurant, paid for by lobbyists. A constant flow of inside information, making them look like genius stock pickers. Campaign contributions in the millions, which they can divert to their family as wages as “campaign employees.”
And that is public knowledge. There are lots of perks that go on, but is not made public knowledge. I am sure many of their family get “consulting fees” from lobbyists. And I am sure there is no shortage of women who are attracted to the wealth, power, and celebrity that comes with political office.
DJT was never seduced by any of this stuff, because he always had it. He had fame, wealth, beautiful women, private jets and yachts.
He is in DC for us. He is the only one there watching out for the average hard-working American.
The 21 GOP Senators who have privately expressed their disdain for Trump are: Portman, Alexander, Sasse, Blunt, Collins, Murkowski, Cornyn, Thune, Romney, Braun, Young, Tim Scott, Rick Scott, Rubio, Grassley, Burr, Toomey, McSally, Moran, Roberts, Shelby.

Silent during times like now? An odd claim in the light of this:
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC/AP) - Sen. Lindsey Graham, who just won reelection in Tuesday’s election, said he is donating a half-million dollars to President Donald Trump’s legal defense fund.
Graham said would donate the money Thursday night so “we will have the resources to fight.” Let’s stand with President Trump. He stood for us. I am donating $500,000 tonight to President Trump's legal defense fund so we will have the resources to fight. Posted by Lindsey Graham on Thursday, November 5, 2020
During an appearance on Fox News Thursday night, Graham told Sean Hannity about the donation to fight allegations of wrongdoing that he called “earth-shattering.” “I’m here tonight to stand with President Trump. He stood with me. He’s the reason we’re going to have a Senate majority [alas, that's doubtful now],” Graham said. “He helped Senate Republicans we’re going to pick up house seats, because of the campaign that President Trump won.” [ Live5 News, WCSC]
They’ll pop up on January 21st to reassure us that illegal immigrants are a necessary part of the American Story.
Yes, they are hiding because they are up to their eyeballs in the illegal money train.
Not that MSLSD is a beacon of journalistic integrity or anything. But how do you explain these RINOs’ impeccable stock-picking record?
Par for the course.
Republicans are the Designated Loser Party inside the Deep State Uniparty that has its boot on your face.
What’s new? They never stand up.
I know. I had too much faith in them. Now I don’t have any at all.
“Not that MSLSD is a beacon of journalistic integrity or anything. But how do you explain these RINOs’ impeccable stock-picking record?”
The problem is, they all do this kind of stuff. That’s why RINOs don’t like to have the light of public scrutiny on them. And the media saves this stuff for when it’s convenient. If it was a Dem, the media would ignore it. It’s an R that they need to cast out to get total control? Look how evil he is.
At this point, I’m not really sure it matters.
Yeah, I suppose so. Some were briefly fighters. Now they’re back to being cowards. I guess that’s always been the case
It like pro wrestling. The Democrat is in a fancy costume and is cheered. The designated loser, the Republican, is dressed like a criminal.
