Could Trump Flip California? Together, We Could Achieve The Impossible

*Guest writer Lily Finn is a Los Angeles native and mother of three. She enjoys writing on mom life, wife life, and always seeking the truth.

Over the last four years and as we’ve approached this year’s fiery election season, the so-called silent majority — the one that elected Trump in 2016 — has only grown larger. And less silent. I know this because I am one of them. And I live in California, where the big question is — in the most divisive and uncertain election in decades — can the Trump train actually cross the border into this most leftist of states? If the recent uptick in MAGA-love popping up in areas notoriously drenched in blue is any indication, we just may be in for something a little different next Tuesday.

If you’ve been paying attention, you’ve seen it. Trump rallies and boat parades have been lining the streets of the rich and famous here in Southern California for months – Beverly Hills, Sherman Oaks, Marina del Rey, and Newport Beach (to name a few), have seen no shortage of MAGA hats and Trump flags flying high, bringing unity between people of all colors, creeds and walks of life seeking to save the future of our beautiful state and country.

But on the morning of October 6, a group of men took this effort to a whole new level. Atop a hillside along the ever-busy 405 freeway in the heart of West Los Angeles, they erected five 20’ tall letters, literally putting TRUMP in the backyard of California’s most progressive and elite. It was a sight that would make any true blue California democrat shake in their boots but spoke loudly to those who have no voice in the “one party state”. It was covered extensively in the local and national press with news footage garnering millions of views on Twitter.

Wow. The group that installed that 405 freeway TRUMP sign has come forward with a pro-Trump campaign video and IT IS 🔥. Could @realDonaldTrump flip California? pic.twitter.com/qrTEN3z0jX

According to group insider “Mr. Black”:

“The sign served two purposes. It was a psychological warfare operation designed to counter the psychological warfare that Newsom, Garcetti and the Democrat-run California government has been running since the lockdown. Putting the word “TRUMP” on a hillside over the 405 — itself a symbol of beauty, aggravation and dysfunction — was intended to let the progressive elite of Los Angeles know that dissidents — MOTIVATED dissidents — live among them.”

He goes on to say:

“It was also a signal to the war-weary AMERICANS here behind enemy lines that they are not alone. That they are on the side of fun and energy. And that they should GO OUT AND VOTE (for Trump, if that wasn’t clear).”

Never in my lifetime have I seen the likes of this in Southern California – the state in which I was born and raised. In California, people assume you are part of the liberal hive-mind. And if you’re not, you surely are not loud about it.

But there is something new in the air. If you were to ask four years ago if Trump would win California, that question would be so outrageous it would hardly deserve a reply. But this year, this moment in time, is too important to let passively pass us by. And it seems that California is finally starting to understand that.

People are speaking up against the blatant intolerance and violence of the California Left and shoving their faces in the reality that there is an America-loving faction among them. We, the people of Red California, are finally showing power in our numbers. And one-by one we are awakening those curious enough to ask “why.”

So, can Trump win California?

In a state that glimmers with possibility and success – home to Hollywood, Disneyland, gorgeous coastlines, vast farmland, and skyscrapers and forests alike; in a state who’s history is rooted in gold, sunshine and an abundance of dreams, it should come as no surprise that those dreamers, those seeking to revitalize the happiness and prosperity this state has always promised, have set their sights on achieving the “impossible” once again. And as Trump, himself, has said, we should “treat the word IMPOSSIBLE as nothing more than MOTIVATION.”

If a small team of men can send an “impossible” message to the heart of leftist Los Angeles, imagine what an army of them can do with a simple vote. If you are as motivated by this as I am, if you are a proud California native who wants to see this state return to what it once was, if you’re an out-of-stater shocked by the discrepancy between the promise and the ugly reality of modern California, I pray you garner everything you’ve got to get out and vote. Together, we can achieve the impossible. I’m sure of it.

After rolling blackouts, uncontrollable fires and droughts caused by gross mismanagement....Maybe the people have finally had enough. It’s one thing to talk about how wonderful it is to be Green, it’s an entirely different thing when you have to live with the consequences of the agenda.

>> President Trump may well be running unopposed <<

"May well be" won't cut it. The RAT party could nominate pure token opposition against Trump, like a catatonic 97 year old nursing home patient who spends $0 and never once "campaigns", and she'd STILL carry California. They will knee-jerk vote for ANY person on the ballot with a "D" next to their name.

Again, the only way California casts its electoral votes for Trump is if he LITERALLY ran opposed: the RATS nominated NOBODY against him, and he was the only name on the ballot on election day.

Take it to the bank.

He could lose the popular but take the electoral.

They say he was trying to say “true international pressure”.

This made an impression but it’d be nice if he has some more word salad in the next couple days.

No. But a good Republican turnout could flip several House seats back to the GOP.

President Trump's coattails are pretty long, so here's hoping. A secondary benefit would be to increase his popular vote, somewhat defusing that argument, though I suspect they would complain even if he numerically beat them.
