Dr. Anthony Fauci is suggesting Americans rethink their Thanksgiving gatherings in the face of a spike in coronavirus cases around the country.
Fauci, the White House coronavirus advisor, made the dire prediction during an interview with “CBS Evening News.”
“You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering, unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected,” he asserted.
Speaking specifically of the holidays, Fauci warned of holding family gatherings.
“That is unfortunately a risk, when you have people coming from out of town, gathering together in an indoor setting,” he advised.

Remember this was supposed to be over by Easter. Then it was Memorial Day. Then we cancelled the 4th of July and kept going.
In 2021, New Years, Easter again, Memorial Day weekend, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and so on it.
2022 - it starts again for at least awhile.

Personally, I think he's just a career bureaucrat doing everything within his power to increase funding for his department AND enhance his celebrity status. He's already on Babs' speed dial.
But maybe he's distracting us intentionally from re-election efforts, like Trump trolls the press while he gets judge's approved. That way he's in good graces with a Biden Admin (he will likely get fired if Trump wins).

As a country we did not flip out over swine flu, bird flu, sars, mers, or ebola.
Trump was on a roll and lookie there, in the spring of an election year, we have to shut everything down. Back then it was for 2 weeks to flatten the curve. And here we are 7 months later and they are still running around crying wolf.
