Jarad Bentley and Brady Williams knew they would get in trouble.
But that didnt matter to the teenagers from Morrow, Ohio. In their hearts they knew they were doing the right thing. And thats all that mattered.
The boys had asked permission to carry flags honoring the police department and the fire department onto the field during the September 11th football game at Little Miami High School.
Jarads father is a firefighter. Bradys dad is a police officer. They wanted to honor first responders on the 19th anniversary of the Muslim terrorist attacks.

But the school district refused to allow the boys to carry the flags. And they were told there would be repercussions if they defied their orders.
The boys considered the cost and on Friday night they ran onto the field with their teammates carrying a Thin Blue Line flag and a Thin Red Line flag.
On Monday they were suspended indefinitely from the football team.
We cant have students who decide to do something anyway after theyve been told that they shouldnt be doing it, superintendent Gregory Power told television station WKRC. We cant have students who decide to do something anyway after theyve been told that they shouldnt be doing it, superintendent Gregory Power told television station WKRC.
Power told the television station that he saw the flags as symbols of a political point of view and didnt want to set a precedent.
We did not want to place ourselves in a circumstance where another family might want a different flag to come out of the tunnel, one that may be [one that] many other families may not agree with from a political perspective, he said.
Kellie Williams wrote on Facebook about the brave and patriotic decision her son and his teammate made.
Sometimes standing for something thats right, means you may stand alone. Im proud of the son we have raised. A son that knows right from wrong. He knows the importance of honoring the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice at a time when he wasnt even born, she wrote. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
So high school football players who take a knee and denigrate the police are celebrated and saluted, but young people who honor the flag are ridiculed and punished.
Thats not right, America. Thats not right.
If they have any friends on the team they should refuse to play until reinstatement occurs. If they don’t have friends on the team, obviously there has been a lot of castration occurring
Fire the principal, coach, and recall all the school board members
Government schools teach ‘compliance’ over anything & everything.
Public schools are run by petty, greedy tyrants who are insufferable in their demands of importance.
If you love your kids home school/private school, IMHO
Has the school board ever approved other messages such as BLM? If so, there could be a lawsuit.
Most Team Members are followers. They don’t see it as their place to lead. These two boys are leaders, in charge of their own minds.
I guess “never” as in “never forget” has a 19 yr expiration date.

Admin and board probably have not heard the last of this. They will likely be getting ears-full from local parents and patriots.
As are most federal, state and city bureaucratic offices.
All of these people need to go.
“Deadwood’ rings a bell.
Heroes !
Its time to go to court and Nick Sandman them.
So now its firefighters too?
You are right about Nick Sandmaning them.
Let me get this right. Dirt bags can freely burn our Flag under freedom of speech but some kids get suspended for a hat supporting the President of the United States?
I would be impressed if the entire team turned in their uniforms and walked off.

This is never going to stop until it costs people money for engaging in cancel culture.
This country has lost its moral compass. These stories are heartbreaking. The public and most notably the young people are being lulled into a socialistic bent.
