Kamala Harris should be asked if she will raise bail for the shooter if he’s arrested.
Not a crazy question. She is currently raising bail for people charged with Attempted Murder for shooting at cops and missing. Not a stretch to assume she might do the same for someone who hit his intended victims.

Situational awareness is very important for officers on the streets these days. I’m sure glad they’re both going to make it.
We as members of the public need to be alert too. If things don’t look quite right, don’t dismiss it. Keep your wits about you .
We who were born in the 1940s have no problems with these type photos. We, as 6-10 year old kids used to walk the gauntlet checking out at the grocery stores, of these blood and guts TRUE CRIME magazines and crime tabloids throughout the 1950s and till 1968, when a fear of a clampdown stopped the overt photos.
All changed due to the murder of Bobby Kennedy, and the blame on “violence” in cartoons, tabloids, TV shows, movies.
Streets are dangerous these days....day or night. Dems have made this.

Yup, the police wanted this photo released to the public just like the video. Their was enough warning concerning the pic that one could have simply bypassed the thread.

I never said they didn’t suffer serious injuries. They did. My comment was about the appropriateness of the picture which someone else had questioned.
Bottom line is the pictures should be here, irrespective of the blood showing through their uniforms. They are heroes for even managing to get out of the car and taking defensive positions till help arrived, despite their serious injuries.

The right handed suspect ran right by a person who appeared to witness the entire shooting. I’m sure they’re intently searching for what appeared to be that female witness. I would think finding the witness is critical to finding the suspect.
And I won’t be surprised if they have better images of the suspect, and the witness, from other cameras.
It will be interesting to find out how long the deputies were sitting and parked at that location.

The neighborhood, where the shooting happened, is not a great place to live...
It is not part of any city...It is under the Los Angeles County administration...
