The combination of the Coronavirus pandemic shutdowns and the riots which followed have essentially rendered gun control a moot issue for a generation.
We have previously written about the surge in gun sales, but now we have a clearer picture of the numbers....Democrats often bring up the subject of hunting when discussing the Second Amendment, but as we have seen over the last six months, it is self-protection which motivates more people to exercise their constitutional rights.

Just because they buy guns doesn’t mean that they’ll vote for Trump. I’d guess that gun ownership in the black racial group is higher overall than in the white group, but they typically vote Democrat anywhere up to 95%
True. A bunch of years ago, I worked with a solid, hard-working guy, who bought an AR15 I had available. He was apparently motivated to act, by one of the countless Democrat gun bans that was about to take effect. I knew he was an outdoorsman, and assumed at the time that he voted pro-gun. Found out later that he ALWAYS voted Democrat, 'cause his dad & grandad had ALWAYS voted Democrat, and he just wanted to get himself an AR before they became illegal...
What % of these new gun buyers will vote to reelect President Trump this November for their first time.
