It appears it is the same shooter.

Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, of Antioch, was charged Wednesday with first-degree intentional homicide in a shooting late Tuesday during a clash between protesters of police brutality and right-wing militia group members.

The militia members had gathered to protect a gas station from looters and vandals, and video shows police offer Rittenhouse water shortly before the shooting and thank him for being there.

I don't think Mr. Rittenhouse was acting as a hit man, so disappearing wasn't a part of his strategy or plan. He walked right up to the police and held his hands up and tried to surrender to them. The police ignored him.

You may have other plans, but most people who find themselves forced to use deadly force don't plan on disappearing afterwards. Contacting your lawyer and the police is a much better strategy.

By your logic some of the police and the federal law enforcement officials on the way now should be charged for the same thing. Mr. Rittenhouse wasn't rioting, he was defending some property located in Kenosha. He was doing what the police and National Guard should have been doing.

Mr. Rittenhouse was very careful. He did not fire upon the person who just kicked him, nor did he fire upon a man brandishing a club nearby. He only fired at the people immediately threatening his life.

Not only that, but he shot the pistol wielding rioter in the arm, just like the liberals are always asking the police to do in similar situations. Luck or skill, who knows, but he did it.

Uh, when a mob of people are attacking you on the ground, and somebody just hit you over the head with a skateboard and tried to grab your rifle I think you are being "threatened".

Take a look at the photos and videos of Kyle being attacked on the street by a mob. That is a much more threatening situation than the situation faced by the McCloskeys.

I hope you aren't a lawyer. People trying to protect property, or stop rioting are not engaged in illegal activity. If your statement about the law was correct the FBI agents or police officers who came from out of state to help would be breaking the law.

A kid went out to defend a boarded up supermarket and now 2 people are dead and he’s facing prison. What would have happened if he hadn’t been there...maybe a supermarket would have been attacked.
