This was just insane.

On Tuesday night two people were killed in the continued violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
It appears it is the same shooter.
There is video of the suspect shooting one rioter in the head.
Then the same suspect is chased down the street and attacked by the mob, getting beat by skateboards
Raw Story reported:
Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, of Antioch, was charged Wednesday with first-degree intentional homicide in a shooting late Tuesday during a clash between protesters of police brutality and right-wing militia group members.
The militia members had gathered to protect a gas station from looters and vandals, and video shows police offer Rittenhouse water shortly before the shooting and thank him for being there.
It’s Kyle.

IL is one of a few States that requires you to be 21 to possess a rifle. 30 States have no age minimum.
He was from IL but he was in Wisconsin with an age minimum of 16. Legal to be in possession.

Thanks for that. So did he fire some shots in response to the people damaging the vehicles before he fired at the guy who chased him with the molotov cocktail?
Or were the shots he fired at molotov guy his first shots?

I’m going to leave this thread because the title and info listed are so wrong.....and not in sequence of the events....so it’s making it difficult to see the truth when there are other thread s that have it together.

The video is out there. I will link it when I can. It does not show the first shot, though, only the chase that preceded it.

We send 17yos off to war.
Wouldn’t be happy about mine going thru this situation, but after reviewing much video in detail it looks like he did everything correctly: invited by friend to defend business from insurrectionists, well trained in rifle use, avoided assaults within reason, and appropriately terminated them when he couldn’t avoid. Two violent thugs will not be rioting further, likely three. The next year will be legally difficult, but I expect he will be offered excellent legal counsel for free, and will be acquitted.
Was it worth it? he brought peace and order to someplace where elected officials were failing to stop, if not facilitating, insurrection. Good job, kid.

Watching him be chased initially, nobody else was acting like shots had been fired.

Go fund me goes Bolshevik and won’t allow fundraising for a lawyer I read.
I predict Nick Sandmann will hire him a lawyer.

Yes....Fired at the guy destroying cars......that was the head injury....I believe that was fatal and he bled out. He ran after making a cell phone call immediately...I believe whoever he called told him to get out of there as he ran like crazy back aross the parking lot.......it was then the thugs identified him yelling he’s the shooter and the chase was on...and that’s when the thug threw the cocktail to try and stop him.
Whoever told him to get out of there was right......the people there are full of violence for anyone or thing they target.
I also have photo of him with his hands up trying to give himself up in front of Cat vehicle police...they told him to get out of the way! eVEN THOUGH PEOPLE WERE YELLING HE’S THE SHOOTER! I counted three vehicles that passed him .....stunning really..and no wonder the kid got out of dodge...nobody there was interested in what had happened exccept the thugs chasing him.

The first guy shot in the head was destroying the auto dealer property vehicles Rittenhouse and other militas were protecting because the car dealership across the street had cars set ablaze the night before. It was after that the thug group began chasing him when he ran across the lot and down the street.
There were two chases. The first is inside the auto lot. That is where the first guy who was chasing Kyle was shot in the head. The shooting is not captured on screen, that I have found.
Then Kyle Rittenhouse goes back to the person he shot, and calls. It has been said he was calling 911. Then more members of the mob come up and threaten him, and he runs again. A little later, he trips in the street and is attacked by multiple assailants with weapons. He shoots two.
It is entirely possible the first person shot was destroying auto dealership property before the fatal first shooting happens.

True....very!
Intersting is there’s a heavy set guy all dressed in black standing with a baseball bat waiting for his own opportunity to bash the kid when he was down...I don’t think he quite wanted to take the chance but he didn’t move away either.

The question then is whether an initial provocation can “taint” the events that happen downstream. Taken in isolation, all three shoots were clearly acts of self-defense, but what if they were the direct consequences of an illegal provocation committed by him? What then, legally speaking? Does that undermine his claims to self defense? They law is clear. Even if there is provocation, if you are attempting to retreat, and leave the situation, you regain your right to self defense.
There is no evidence to believe there was provocation by Kyle.
It has been said the person who was shot taunted him by saying, "Shoot me, shoot me" before the chase started.
I have not been able to confirm that. It is supposed to be on tape.

Think what hes facing ....and was it worth it?Hell yes.....my kid would be alive, facing a semblance of justice in court rather than being killed by commies on the street. Hell yes it is worth the grief to have him alive. Once he is acquitted, I'd send him to Disney World!

RE: Its not chicken out....its a job for the police.
OK, where are or were the police?
You mean you have to WAIT for the police to arrive before you can defend a property from being burned? Or wait for the police before you get harmed?
Aren’t they considered the villains by the very same rioters? Why would they want to come under such circumstances?
To: SeekAndFind
Obviously my position isn’t popular but here is my thought anyway:
2 dead people and one going to jail at least for a while in a traumatic situation. Was it worth defending the property when apparently their lives weren’t at stake?
The McCloskeys were different - the mob came for their house and them (and their dog) and I agree with what they did. They were being threatened.
