New documents filed in the case involving the death of George Floyd show the medical examiner’s opinion that the victim had a potentially fatal level of fentanyl in his system.
One document is a memorandum of a conversation between a court attorney and Andrew Baker, the Hennepin County chief medical examiner.
The conversation included statements that the fentanyl levels in Floyd’s system were “pretty high” and “can cause pulmonary edema.”
The document includes, “This level of fentanyl can cause pulmonary edema. Mr. Floyd’s lungs were 2-3x their normal weight at autopsy. That is fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances.”

The natural response of the left, besides ignoring reality, will be to shift the complaint to “cops should have known he was ODing and followed protocols for OD cases.
So what were the likely MPD protocols for OD cases? Perhaps summon an ambulance/EMTs; make the “patient” lie down and keep still; and, try to make them calm down.
As far as autopsies are concerned, didn’t the family get their own independent autopsy?

Death determinations are not an exact science oftentimes because many factors are involved.
Add the fact that juries are fickle, so I don’t know what will happen.
But if the cop is acquitted, I think we all know what will happen unfortunately.

I don't know the answers to your other questions but the details aren't that important if this report has any legitimacy. If a defense attorney brings forth a medical examiner to testify that it was fentanyl that killed George Floyd, reasonable doubt about the murder accusation has been raised. It is going to be hard for a conscientious jury to find the cops guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Yes, I'm sure what the consequences of such a jury decision will be.

Causation versus Contribution.
The officer kneeling on Floyd’s Neck may have contributed to the effects of the Drug Overdose taking his Life, but it in no way caused it.
Of course, had Floyd not forcibly resisted Arrest and followed the Officer’s commands, he may have been treated for his Drug Overdose and been alive today (along with the People who were Murdered by the ANTIFA / BLM Rioters).
My own research indicates that sublingual Fentanyl tablets will begin to take effect within 15 minutes.
When combined with the other narcotics found in his system, respiratory depression is a near certainty.
Not to mention his heart disease and hypertension which is another dangerous combo with this drug.
