DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: But over the last week, the Democrats held the darkest and angriest and gloomiest convention in American history. They spent four straight days attacking America as racist and a horrible country that must be redeemed.ANDERSON COOPER, CNN: I mean, I guess what else would he say? I wonder what you make of it.
(CNN commentator) NINA TURNER: You're reading my mind, Anderson. I mean, because he does need to be redeemed. I don't which convention he was look at though. But this country needs to be redeemed. This country is racist. It's rooted in racism.
When we talk about immigration, it's a country founded on the back and blood and sweat and tears of enslaved Africans and in the first generation born of African-Americans for generations.
It is a nation that stole the land from indigenous people.
Come on. We're trying to get to the high ideas but we're not there yet.
So, I'm not surprised President Trump would paint the Democratic convention in that way. That is what he does. He is delusional if he thinks it's rewriting revisionist histories.
(snip)
We have an opportunity, if it is taken, to show that the Democratic Party will be the answer to the corporate interests.
There are 12 billionaires who are at $2 trillion. They control a trillion worth of wealth. Meanwhile, back on Main Street, people are catching all kinds of hell.
So, we're going to stand up for the poor, working poor and barely middle class. And it's better than how the BLM are quoting or mentioning Ella Baker's name. It is living up to the high ideas and the principals by which the freedom fighters fought for.

What her leftist “Amerika” is rooted in is sin. She simply misspoke.
Black Americans, other than immigrants from Africa, would not exist if their ancestors had never left Africa. Every person is the result of a unique constellation of ancestors—remove any one of those and the descendants are never born. African slaves were deliberately mixed up on plantations so they would not have a common language—so slave men and slave women had children together but were from different tribes probably from widely separated places in Africa so they would never have met in Africa.
call me when you want to pay reparations to the irish. i take cash only.
Yes, because taking money from whitey for 60 years to help the “poor” has worked so well.

Excellent point. This current battle is older than you and me.
She who smelt it dealt it.
Did Nina Turner “Hoover” her way to the top from the bottom, like Willie Brown’s Mattress?

Young black men: 3% of the population. 55% of the murder.
Who is Turner? I dont care what she thinks.
Racists are people like you, Mins, people who are obsessed with race and make everything about race.
So I guess a racist country has had two black men on the Supreme Court and a black African in the White House for 8 years?

The dnc states that America is racist before, during, and after the speech by America’s 2 term black president. Which just ended.
Three fact that anyone falls for this garbage makes me root for covid. Or perhaps an asteroid.
“All human beings are racist to one degree or another. “
Preferring the company of members of your own tribe is not racist.
Shunning the company of those whose tribe is known for violence, drug abuse and theft is also not racist.
Bill Whittle wrote a rant after 9-11 (called “tribes” oddly enough, that might help people to identify their tribe... It’s not a racial thing at all... It’s about values.

Hence I mentioned her “commie card”.
Spot on
To listen to these commentators the US is still gripped in the Jim Crow south or a version South African apartheid. Never mind we fought a Civil War to end slavery 150 years ago, passed sweeping Civil Rights legislation 50 years ago and elected and re-elected a Black President. No the US is systemically racist to its core and anyone born with white skin is tainted with the original sin of racism that can only be redeemed by kowtowing to BLM racists.
