I’ve been there, but I don’t remember going into the Capitol building. A friend and I went there once to visit her daughter. It was fun, but they weren’t into seeing historic things.
I like San Antonio better. Schilo’s. Mmmm.
The Capitol is with seeing.

Not with armed Texans on the grounds and 2 sniper teams on two buildings. The protestors peacefully assembled and did not riot.

In 1991, the Texas Rangers were formally reorganized as a division in DPS and the Senior Ranger Captain (Chief) reports directly to the Directory of DPS. In 1993, this reorganization recognized the Texas Rangers as a major division in the DPS and was formally adopted into law.
The name lives on but the old organization known as The Texas Rangers is gone.
I had no idea.
