Why Supporting Black Lives Matter Is Anti-Christian And Anti-Life
The Federalist ^ | June 12, 2020 | Sarah St. Onge

...But while BLM the organization declares their movement a “natural phenomenon” and its organization decentralized, the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter was intentionally marketed to a specific cause. As such, we must be cautious to clarify that affirming “black lives matter” is different than supporting Black Lives Matter, the 501 (c)(3), its chapters, and its partners.

Christians should limit our use of popular hashtags — primarily #BlackLivesMatter and #HandsUpDontShoot — to share messages regarding equality. Hashtag advocacy leads back to the organizations that create the hashtags. In this case, it means directing friends and family to an overt effort to fundamentally remake the world with socialist ideas—ideas that often directly contradict the message of the gospel...Thus, if we are not careful in our social media interactions, we may end up inadvertently supporting a repugnant political ideology responsible for mass killing on a scale multiple times that of the Nazis, not to mention some of the worst oppression against Christians we’ve seen in modern times. We would be supporting an overtly pro-abortion movement whose founders previously worked in abortion advocacy. We would be paying homage to women who have stood on stage with political leaders who are starving their citizens to death.

While I understand the desire to promote a consistent life ethic as a Christian, doing so by supporting Black Lives Matters, rather than supporting black people whose lives matter, would be as valueless as joining the ranks of the same leftists we’ve seen on stage for the last 60 years. This is nothing new, and it’s not compatible with Christianity....

I have heard about pastors in my area calling for people in their congregation to support BLM.

Understand that BLM is a funding front for the DNC. Most of the “charitable” contributions there are being funneled to the DNC and people like Bernie Sanders. Foreign money also be funneled through BLM.

I don’t for a second see it happening, but if my church tried that, I’m out. May not even make it to the end of the service.

I’m all about equality and am truly colorblind.

I hate that a certain segment of our society almost requires us to see life through the spectrum of color.

I was coming out of Walmart yesterday when an older lady who happened to have dark skin asked for some help. She and another black lady were in her words “Flapping our lips in the car and ran out of gas.” They had walked to the gas station and had a full government authorized gas can and couldn’t figure out how to get it to work.

I gladly helped them out and we had a fun conversation while I was filling their tank.

At one point I was temped to say something like “Aren’t I supposed to hate you or something?” but it wasn’t worth the bother. One of my key Bible verses is Galations 6:10. It essentially says to go out of your way to help others.

I was glad to help out.

Virtually all of the spaces Black Lives Matter and its founders inhabit are associated with leftist or openly socialist worker’s movements. All three women have spoken at Left Forum, a think tank for socialists, which engages high-profile communists, socialists, and Marxists as keynote speakers. Speakers include luminaries such as Marxist Silvia Federici and Frances Fox Piven.

Black Lives Matter has sponsored town hall meetings with leftist extremists even the leftist agitation group Southern Poverty Law Center finds objectionable. They’ve written touching eulogies for mass murderers who brutally suppressed Christianity.

It's always surprising to me how naive people are and that there are non-Marxist, non-America-hating people who fall for this scam. Who think supporting it is supporting black Americans and don't know it has nothing to do with helping black or any other Americans and U.S. it is simply a revolutionary communist front group.

fundamental ME Islam, yes. But these guys are prison converts and Nation of Islam people where things are a bit less fundamental. They still want u dead or converted. They still are an international organization with strong ties to the ME. There are lots of Marxist muslims. One is a social philosophy, the other economic. They are not incomparable.

Certainly President Trump understands the importance of and to make the most of prime time television. Recent events have provided another opportunity for him to address the nation during prime time.

In order to get the media to provide coverage and provide it from start to finish, the even will need to be a subject they can not resist to cover.

The subject can be an announcement on the use of the military and national guard during the current rioting. The potential for points against Trump will be too much for them not to cover.

But instead of allowing them to score points president Trump should go on offensive driving three major points across to the American public.

First as the prime time event starts you will see President trump and three pastors. President Trump will be kneeling on both knees. You will have a priest a rabbi and a pastor. One of which should be African American. They will all have hands on the President praying over him silently.

The President will then stand up and recite the pledge of allegiance before the American flag.

He will then follow with a short address containing three points to cover. Keeping the press from breaking away coverage is important so the speech must be short and concise.

The first point will be for every event an American flag is raised or honored a short period of prayer and reflection be given asking God for reconciliation and a deeper understanding of what divides our country before the flag is displayed.

The second point will be about funds (in the billions) that will be allocated toward training for police departments throughout the United States on procedures for handling situations such as George Floyd.

The third and final would be notification to the American people of the President’s plan to federalize the national guard if a peaceful solution to domestic terrorist activity can not be found.

He should then end and leave the room.

Civilization

Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage’s whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men.

The precondition of a civilized society is the barring of physical force from social relationships—thus establishing the principle that if men wish to deal with one another, they may do so only by means of reason: by discussion, persuasion and voluntary, uncoerced agreement.

The necessary consequence of man’s right to life is his right to self-defense. In a civilized society, force may be used only in retaliation and only against those who initiate its use.

Ayn Rand

The individual vs the gang, mob, collective. The tiniest minority in the history of civilization is the individual.

I agree with the article. Christians should not support any socialist/communist group.

That said, there are several organizations that use the name Black Lives Matter.

This is the BLM Foundtion.... (This is a 501C)

https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.profile&ein=474143254

EIN 47-4143254
Name in IRS Master File BLACK LIVES MATTER FOUNDATION
Address 19197 GOLDEN VALLEY RD
SANTA CLARITA, CA 91387-1428
NTEE Code P20
NTEE Classification Human Service Organizations - Multipurpose
NTEE Type Human Services - Multipurpose and Other
Classification Charitable Organization
Subsection 501(c)(3) (View the list of codes)
Activities: etc.( More at link)

This is from Fact Check:

ActBlue and BlackLivesMatter.com

There are a number of groups that use the phrase “Black Lives Matter” in their name. There is a “Black Lives Matter Foundation,” for example, whose president confirmed to us that it is not related to the organization behind BlackLivesMatter.com — which is at the center of the viral claims.

BlackLivesMatter.com is operated by an umbrella Black Lives Matter organization called the Black Lives Matter Global Network. The effort started in 2013 following the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the killing of Trayvon Martin.

To collect donations, the website uses ActBlue Charities, a 501(c)(3) organization that specifically makes the platform available to charitable organizations.

Owens’ Instagram post features a video showing that BlackLivesMatter.com uses ActBlue for its donations. It then shows an OpenSecrets.org breakdown of expenditures by ActBlue made in the 2020 cycle; the top recipients are the presidential campaigns of Sen. Bernie Sanders, former Vice President Joe Biden, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

But the video misrepresents how ActBlue works. ActBlue isn’t itself donating money. It’s just the online platform that campaigns and groups use to solicit and collect donations.

Campaign finance experts told us that it’s false to say that donations to the Black Lives Matter group are going to the Democratic National Committee, or to Democratic presidential campaigns, simply because the website uses ActBlue. (Ect, more at link.)

Ok, I am not certain what Candice said and there may be some confusion, but based on the above BLM does support Democrat Candidates. (duh...)

We haven’t heard much from the imams and the Muslim community in general as far as whether or not they support BLM. Since “silence is violence,” followed by harassment from the activists if you don’t support them, I find it odd that nobody has publically demanded they speak up.
