Friday News Roundup: Trump Pans Antifastan While Biden and CNN Build False Analogies
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

You know what would be really funny? If President Donald J. Trump held a press conference today in which he recognized Antifa’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) as a free and independent country, built a 32-foot high wall around its perimeter and slapped 100% tariffs on it. The wall would have surveillance cameras placed atop it so that we could all then spend the next few weeks watching “Animal Farm” play out in real life. It could be a great new reality show on Bravo or E!.

It would all be worth it just to see the looks on the faces of Jonathan Karl, Yameche Alcindor and the rest of the White House Press Corps while he was talking. It would be glorious.

Ok, enough wishful thinking.

The President did weigh in on the situation in what he calls “Antifastan” yesterday in this tweet:

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Radical Left Governor @JayInslee and the Mayor of Seattle are being taunted and played at a level that our great Country has never seen before. Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will. This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stopped IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST!

So, of course, Washington leftist Governor Jay Inslee and Seattle’s mindless Mayor Jenny Durkan won’t be doing anything about it anytime soon. These are, after all, the same subversive nitwits who ordered the Seattle PD to surrender its 3rd precinct building, which lies inside the border of Antifastan. At a presser yesterday, Durkan compared the situation, in which armed thugs are abusing participants and preventing anyone from traveling through the zone and business owners are being robbed and threatened, to any other “peaceful protest” that has been held within the area over the years.

I laugh about it because it is all so utterly absurd, but the reality is that people are having their rights abused and their livelihoods destroyed, not to mention the almost certain sexual assaults and other brutality taking place in the area. These are Americans who deserve equal protection under the law and no one in a position of authority appears interested in providing that to them.

By the way, very predictably, no one in the national news media other than Fox News and OAN is really covering what amounts to an armed insurrection on U.S. soil, which is intentional so that the Democrat Governor and Mayor can keep up the pretense that it is no big deal. They’re too busy engaging in yet another round of Wuhan Virus panic porn, as we covered last night.

Deep Thoughts, by Creepy Uncle Quid Pro Farty China Joe Biden:

Yes, she went there. – Angela Rye, a paid CNN contributor, said during a panel discussion yesterday that we should not distinguish between revolutionary figures like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and Confederate Civil War figures like Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson when it comes to willy-nilly tearing down statues and erasing history.

In making her comments, Ms. Rye assumed for herself the cloak of 18th century slaves owned by Washington and Jefferson, by saying “American history is not all glorious… George Washington was a slave owner. We need to call slave owners out for what they are. Whether we think they were protecting American freedom or not, he wasn’t protecting my freedoms.”

For the record, Ms. Rye was born in a well-to-do family in Seattle, Washington forty years ago. She attended expensive private schools as a child, and obtained an undergrad degree from the University of Washington and a law degree from the extremely expensive Seattle University School of law. Unlike the slaves owned by Washington and Jefferson, she was born into great privilege and has lived in great privilege throughout her entire life in the freest country on planet Earth.

CNN ought to find someone with more authentic grievances to advocate for tearing down the Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument, because this particular cat don’t flush.

Speaking of lives of great privilege, I give you the Rev. Al Sharpton:

Mediaite ✔ @Mediaite Trump Campaign Mandates Acceptance of Coronavirus Liability Waiver to Attend Its Upcoming Tulsa Rallyhttp://mediaite.com/a/ioymp

Going to Trump Rally? You Must Sign Covid-19 Liability Form Trump campaign mandates attendees accept pandemic liability waiver to register for its upcoming Tulsa rally

mediaite.com 22 6:37 PM - Jun 11, 2020 Twitter Ads info and privacy 40 people are talking about this Guess what? Tens of thousands of Oklahomans will happily sign that waiver for the chance to be present for a Trump rally. You wouldn’t find 100 willing to do the same for Joe Biden.

So suck it, Mediaite.

That is all.

Any citizen of Chaz is free to leave whenever they want, as long as they go thru proper procedures.

First, they’ll have to get a Chaz passport.

Second, they’ll need to apply to the US for a Visa. Currently, they can go to any one of the US Consolates (at the moment, there are 0) in the State of Chaz to apply.

Third, they go to a port of entry at the border between Chaz and the US.

I remember when the Occupy Wall Street crowd took over my state capitol grounds (they were not permitted inside the capitol building). At that time I was working in my capitol city. At first, there was a mix of high end and street people. Later, it became a smelly mess as the nicer, crazy libs went home and the street people predominated.

Same thing here. Give it time. It will get rowdier and smellier. Don’t over react.

The State of Chaz should apply for US Foreign Aid. We should do all we can to help them in their fledgling nation.

Of course, they’ll need to wait for aid behind Venezuela, North Korea and Cuba.

Don’t kid yourself, this is another example trying to take down Trump.

He’s been very smart so far. the worst thing would be for him to call in the National Guard or the FBI, and then you have Kent State and a bunch martyrs.

...25 percent property tax rate hike...

I didn't know they can do that...

If the state and fed governments allow this Seattle thing to go on, do you think they will try to stop some conservatives from doing the same thing in other parts of the country?

Yes, of course they would.

But pull a Cuba - start it out as a sort of antiFA-like thing, then, when established, go conservative...

Antifastan - that's a genius name and needs to stick. Thank you President Trump.

True to the Communists' parasite mindset, they don't want their own autonomy. They want their warped version of Utopia paid for by all the undesirables on the outside.

Why are they checking IDs for people going into Seattle's Antifastan? Oh, the irony of setting up barricades to keep people out. It may only take one seed of doubt in someone's mind and photos of barriers and someone checking IDs is a good one.

As others have posited, much like Occupy Wall Street, this is going to become a filthy homeless encampment but with one big difference; when the sons and daughters of privilege leave, they're going to have to go back through their own checkpoints. It'll be nice to see the Range Rovers roll past the cameras.

Maybe a group of patriots can travel through the great state of West Virginia and tear down anything relating to the Grand Kliegel Robert KKK Byrd. Wonder how the Democrats would react to that.

I agree but disagree. These testaments to Democrat racism need to stand forever so people never forget who the Democrats are.

The list can be read into public record every year as a reminder and lest people try to blame Southerners, let everyone remember that New York State elected Hillary KKKlinton, mentored by the Grand Kliegel Robert Byrd, as State Senator.

Biden and the Demorats have little choice but to sell false information and made up comments because they've twisted up everything they've touched.....they can't unravel what they've done, hidden and stolen.
