The retired St. Louis police captain was shot to death early Tuesday during a violent night of protests in which four active St. Louis police officers were also shot. Dorn, who also served as police chief in Moline Acres, was 77, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The shooting took place around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday as Dorn tried to protect Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry from looters, the Post-Dispatch reported. He was shot in the torso and died on the sidewalk in front of the shop.
He lay outside the store bleeding as his death was captured on Facebook Live.
A surveillance video showing men breaking into a pawn shop was released by police Friday in an effort to catch the person who fatally shot a retired police captain who was attempting to prevent looting there.

The video from store surveillance cameras shows at least seven men as they burst into Lee’s Pawn & Jewelry at 4123 Martin Luther King Drive. All of the looters have their faces covered in the video. Six were wearing masks and one had a white shirt covering his head and face.
At least two of the men had handguns and the video shows one of them pointing a gun toward the door.

Police have made no arrests and released the video seeking the public’s help on the fourth day of the homicide investigation. A reward for information leading to an arrest has climbed to $45,000.

How many funerals will Capt. Dorn get? Will celebrities attend? Gold casket? Sharpton? Will the service be broadcast across the nation? I hope Gov. Parson attends to pay his respects.
The only black lives that matter to Black Lives Matter, Democrats and the media are ones killed by police or by white racists.

None of them had gloves on. They touched doorways, and probably other areas in the store. Blood traces from the cut hand. I’ll bet all of these scumbags have previous records, with fingerprints on file in the system. If you get one, you’ll get them all, because that one, especially if he wasn’t responsible for shooting Captain Dorn, isn’t going to take that rap for the ones who did. They always snitch each other out.
Nope, that's not true at all. Two had long hair...one had dreadlocks. You can pick them out by their eyes, and different skin tones. Blacks don't all look alike. There's always some distinguishing feature to tell them apart.
Exactly, where are the protests against those black thugs who murdered an elderly black man?
