CNN's "Reliable Sources" host Bria Stelter wonders why President Trump and the "right-wing media these days" are focusing on "deep state" conspiracy theories and "revelations about the Russia probe" instead of the coronavirus pandemic, noting that during a recent "Fox & Friends" appearance, President Trump "talked about the Flynn case for 20 minutes" before they asked him about the pandemic.
"It's so disappointing to look at what we're seeing from right-wing media these days," Stelter said Sunday. "Where there is such an obsession with the deep state and these revelations about the Russia probe."
"They’re treating the Michael Flynn story like it's a bigger deal than the deaths of 2,000 Americans a day," he said. "In what right mind is any scandal, any political scandal, any Department of Justice story more important to ask the president about than the pandemic that's raging?"

In a mind that knows pandemics come and go, leaving misery and death to those most affected and only bad memories to the survivors. Plagues have done so since the time of Justinian and before. Then the world recovers, and moves on.
Political corruption needs no laboratory, season, or contagion to spread its rot and destruction. It’s effects can last for centuries. It can strike at any time, and no vaccine will stop it. Social distancing won’t help.

CNN is to blame for a lot of empty shelves. They have made a point to have an article about every week with a list of things people need to buy. You can count on those items to disappear. The week they listed items needed to bake from scratch those aisles were empty. I truly wonder if most people have any idea what to do with that stuff.
