President Donald Trump claimed on Sunday that a coronavirus vaccine would be ready by the end of 2020 and returned to touting an unproven treatment for the disease on both fronts contradicting his own health officials as well as companies developing and testing potential vaccines.

Glad to see you mentioning the treatment, once again.
Well done, Sir.
Hi Mod,
I realize Politico is not ordinarily a real highly rated source, but I believe this article is better than usual, can this please be posted to News/Activism under keywords Business/Economy, News/Current Events.
Thank you very much.
:)
” returned to touting an unproven treatment for the disease”
These fake news fruitcakes, always the “unproven treatment” garbage..
Not contradicting, but overriding.
If this garbage is better than usual, the usual garbage is very toxic indeed.
Yes.
But I am just asking for this to be promoted, this time, because Trump is the topic of this article, and he has as well finally, returned to this very important topic:
Hydroxychloroquine
more likely Politico is a fake new source. See below retraction of the 'Trump owes China millions' story from last week.

Thank you again for reminding me that objective journalism is DEAD and that TDS is real and in need of a cure or vaccine.
Why shouldn’t he announce treatments and timelines for vaccines? He can’t do any worse than Fauci and Birx over theirs.
Soros’ Politico has an attack article on Trump.
Gosh.
Thank You South Dakota for making your entire state a mass clinical study for hydroxy therapy.
Please use the Dr Z regimen with zinc ( or the protocol being used in Iceland, Poland, NZ and other countries, are and dont let Faucis NIH sabotage the study
I like when President Trump said he favored a remedy more than a vaccine. He talked about Remdesivir and how it was a complicated, time consuming process to make (talk is that Gilead will price a treatment course for about $9,000).
Then he turned his attention to Hydroxychloroquine and how one study did not get positive results. That outcome was contradicted by others that got good results. Then he nailed the politics behind HCQ. They didn’t want HCQ to have a good outcome because it would mean that he would get credit for its good outcome. Trump would rather see people cured from a HCQ treatment and not get the credit for it.
The statue of President Lincoln looking down at him told me that Lincoln would approve of the job President Trump was doing.

"Top Health Officials" don't "dict."
President Trump Dicts!
I thought the vaccine was going to be ready in summer? Isn’t December 2020 a bit late? I mean there would already be the second wave, right?
