An Emergency Room physician in California is calling out Fauci's misinformation with the real facts and figures. COVID-19 is no more dangerous than the seasonal flu. There's no reason to think the never before tried strategy of quarantining healthy people is going to accomplish anything. And the state imposed lock downs used to enforce it are causing a marked increase in the number of children molested, spousal abuse, and all kinds of other social pathologies that have far more serious medical effects and repercussions than the seasonal flu.
Not just nuts. Leftist fags. You'll find percentages of them in any occupation. But mostly during a deep state occupation of the nation.
I think the U-P could drink Covid to death. I've known a few people from up there and damn if they couldn't throw the liquor down.
Luckily though, I've made some friends here in Tennessee that have their own special brand of hand-sanitizer.

1. You have no idea what they really think of Fauci. They are trying to be as polite as possible and not make needless enemies. From their perspective it makes perfect sense.
I made specific factual claims about Fauci’s blundering. If you think any of it isn’t, let me know. It’s not impossible I made a mistake and I’ll certainly consider any objections. But nothing you said had anything to do with any of the factual claims I made. Maybe those doctors were trying to be polite for good reasons. Maybe I was trying to be impolite for good reasons. Who cares. If the facts I gave are correct, Fauci deserves a lot of blame.
Finally, there are things about Fauci I didn’t mention. Google “New England Journal of Medicine Fauci.” First or near first entry should be a March 26 article Fauci co-wrote with a few other people. It’s not long but you don’t even need to read the whole thing. Do a search for “.01%”. Look at the sentence it appears in. It will say that the “clinical consequences” of COVID-19 look like they will be about the same as a severe flu with a death rate of around .01%, which is exactly the flu’s rate.
That article appeared March 26. A reporter — I think it was Sharyl Attkisson but I’d have to check — asked the NEJM about that article since, the very next day on the 27, Fauci said we needed to be locked down til a vaccine was developed . That would take a couple of years at least, and Attkisson or whoever it was wondered why Fauci was saying C-19 was like a severe flu to his peers on one day and telling the public we needn’t to be locked down for two more years the next.
The NEJM told her the article was submitted a couple weeks before it was published. So it was submitted around Mar 12. That’s 4 days before all this lockdown B.S. started. 4 days before it started Fauci had already completed an article in which he told his peers C-19 would likely be like a severe seasonal flu.
How do you explain that?
That’s not the only deceitful thing Fauci has done. But I don’t have time to go into the rest of it at the moment. He’s known all along this virus wasn’t what he was making it out to be.

We know the California ER doctor was only being polite and wouldn’t have really done any of these measures since he explicitly made it a point to criticize the idea of quarantining healthy people. As I mentioned in the article, there is absolutely no reason to think any of this is doing anything. For one thing the studies only concern the flue and this isn’t the flu. For another, they weren’t even conclusive about the flu. There’s a lot that could be said about why this strategy is nonsense. Fauci isn’t dumb enough not to know. And the CA ER doctor clearly knows and was only being polite. There’s no way he would have done this insane nonsense since he knows there’s no reason to think it works.

Maybe it depends on who they work for. Doctors who work for a health care provider or system are bound to what the hospital system allows - tells - them to do.
I’m getting this opinion from my own experience with our State’s new medical marijuana laws. Seems only independent physicians are issuing cards and the ones in the “systems’ are limited to what their management allows. Can’t even get a “recommendation letter” from mine even though they were the first to step up and tell everyone they would issue those.

Nope. I'm just paying attention to what is happening in my county where I live. Right now, the death rate is a 6 percent. And, according to my daughter, we are about to lose another one. That will push it to 7 percent if no new cases are found today, which, I'm sure will happen.

Well and truly said and every word of it. That is one of the major reasons I am a staunch supporter of term-limit legislation to regulate ALL elective political positions at every level of government. In my opinion it is pure folly to ever trust in the integrity of ANY politician.
Heck, that's one more new one from late last night. Yeah, I was going off the 99 count. Three weeks ago, we only had 6 cases.

This is not a metropolitan area. This is a low population county where everyone knows each other. If they died of coronavirus, word gets around fast. Especially since most of these cases are occurring in two nursing homes.
If they are going by Birx’s diktats, they will count coronavirus deaths the same way, which is : WITH coronavirus equals FROM coronavirus.
You and I discussed this issue before. I provided links, etc.
Those links made very clear that the number of flu deaths are greatly exaggerated.

Well, I'll give you a heads up long before the press gets it. My daughter called and said she just lost her first case in her facility a little while ago. That makes 7 deaths and 100 cases. You do the math.
This report was released in 2012.
Take a look. According to that report, how many deaths were caused by influenza in 2010? How many in 2011?
Now, ask yourself, why suddenly did the CDC start claiming the seasonal flu kills tens of thousands every year? Where did that new number come from?
