That would be an even bigger mistake. The Dem operatives would have a big time with that all weekend.
He said it. He screwed up. And today he effectively owned up to it in a very bad way by saying he was being sarcastic. He’s an extraordinary man and an incredible president but he is not perfect.
I hope the issue dies but by leaving early tonight the press is going to smell blood in the water so this issue is probably going to get traction. Hopefully they’ll just be less press conferences and less questions which I think is a good thing.
Sometimes just admitting a mistake is the best solution. Dems will always find something to attack him on.

Trump’s speculation that there might be a way to get UV light into the body to fight COVID-19 is not the “off the wall” idea the media is trying to make it.

I work with UV light in the treatment of water and also with various hospitals in the San Francisco Bay area and had heard of this a couple years back
