You can now buy light fixtures which put out UV/c which is deadly to viruses but won’t penetrate through the skin. There is a water purification system which uses UV light to sterilize water.
I’m not prescribing anything. I’m just pointing out that there are therapies that do use UV light to fight diseases.
Trump’s speculation that there might be a way to get UV light into the body to fight COVID-19 is not the “off the wall” idea the media is trying to make it.
