Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced today that his social media platform will endeavor to assist the countrys overreaching governors by banning all posts that seek to organize and support demonstrations protesting stay-at-home orders and other efforts by governors and mayors to shred the Bill of Rights in the name of fighting a virus.
From a Breitbart article on Zuckerbergs proclamation:
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says that posts and pages attempting to organize protests against stay-at-home orders will be banned as misinformation.
The Facebook CEO confirmed that the posts would be banned to ABCs George Stephanopoulos on a segment of Good Morning America.
Stephanopoulos asked Zuckerberg how the company deals with the fact that Facebook is now being used to organize a lot of these protests to defy social distancing guidelines in states. If somebody trying to organize something like that, does that qualify as harmful misinformation?
We do classify that as harmful misinformation and we take that down, confirmed Zuckerberg, while at the same time saying that its important that people can debate policies.
A Facebook spokesman confirmed to CNN that planned protests in California, New Jersey, and Nebraska were having their pages removed from Facebook at the request of state authorities.
[End]
Note that part about at the request of state authorities.
Thus does Facebook, a social media platform supposedly designed to facilitate communication between its millions of users now become a tool for the state to use to deny its users first amendment rights. Granted, Facebook is a privately-held company that is perfectly able to and well-known for banning speech of which its uniformly leftist moderators do not approve, but it is now making a leap to the banning of speech of which the state does not approve.
Thats a whole different kettle of fish right there.
And so we see Facebook join with the corrupt, mainstream media outlets in becoming just another cog in the machinery of the Democrat/media propaganda complex.
You wonder why people hate the media and fear the loss of their individual rights? This announcement by the CEO of the largest social media platform, made on a Disney-owned TV network morning show that is hosted by a pretend journalist who spend much of his adult life serving as a bagman for the Clintons really kind of ties up the reasons all in a neat little package, doesnt it?
Were all in this together, comrades.
Facebook will protect you from harmful speach, comrades.
Trust us, good citizens.
My goodness.
That is all.
Sieg Heil Fakebook
The goose-stepping Left.
Sieg Heil.
Glad I never had a facebook account.
And if I did, Id take it down post haste.
Fecebook was always a CIA project.
Comrade Z you are a traitor, again.
I would hope that this FINALLY convinces people to ditch FB and find something else. I have never had a FB account and never will.
Well finally, after my wife gave me an ultimatum, I cancelled my Facebook account. So Zuckerberg can go sodomize himself as far as I’m concerned and the sooner Facebook fails the better.
And speech too?
Bloggers. Feh.
If the people protesting would at least all wear masks and keep 6 feet from one another, theyd have more approval from the American public. But they are all clustered together in a bunch.
Plenty of posts there today supporting and streaming the PA protest.
I text five people, and they text five people, etc.
Since when should we expect anything different from DARPA?
Nice of them from the comforts of home. Lol. Dozens are out there though.

I just hope they have better success then this dude.
Bump
Please tell me you didn’t fall for the fear mongering...
Liberate FB.
But they are all clustered together in a bunch.
Horrible, just awful. Lock them up together in one cell, and throw away the key. That should keep them apart.
