People are nearing panic mode. I see fear in their eyes. Panic can kill just as easily as a virus.

The MSM-Democrats are doing everything they can to spread panic and touch off violence.

The media is day and night spreading negativity. This affects peoples mindsets.

Crimes such as shootings and break-ins are up in nearby Toledo, Ohio and more break ins out in the country. The criminals assume the police are too busy to deal with crime.

Two weeks ago the high end stores in big cities were closed. Within a few days the entire inventory was gone and shops boarded up. By high end I’m talking stores like Hermes, Dolce Gabanna.

No panic apparent in my neighborhood (which is about 50% retirees).

"Boarded up"

Wood burns readily, steel grates not so much.

Sounds overstated. If a storefront is going to close up for weeks or months, a few minutes covering it with plywood sheets seems prudent vs whatever may befall unattended windows.

Yep people are out of food but will steal TV’s and clothes for some unknown reason.

Is there ever any logic or reasoning to rioting?

Was the rioting and looting after the death of Martin Luther King a logical expression of grief?

Were the Rodney King riots a reasonable expression of frustration with a perceived improper verdict in a court case?

Were the riots in Ferguson, Missouri, riots in which the vast majority of rioters were brought in from out of town to riot, somehow a proportionate reaction to a perceived case of improper police procedure?

Etc. Etc.

Walmart nw arkansas . They are limiting the number of people in the store. line outside in the misting rain.

Rural NW AZ post office - max of three people inside, line outside maintained six foot limit - no hassles.

“People are nearing panic mode.”

The Speaker has challenged Antifa to make friends with retailers.

While out, he decided to pick up a blanket we’d dropped off for cleaning.

Going to both places and returning home we both noticed a great many folks out working on their homes/properties.

It’s like this is giving folks an unexpected chance to slow down in life and do things they’ve put off.

Perhaps panic is a new type of basketball game?
Lotsa kids here shooting baskets and there seem to be a couple of hoops on every block.

Dunno.

We have less than 2500 people here.

Over in Sherman where my wife works they are making people wait in line to go into stores. Naturally there are good sized crowds at the back of the line.

Anyone with military experience could have told them that would happen and it is a near certainty that someone sat the person who made the decision to implement this down and explained it to them. But there you have it anyway.

It looks like stupidity on parade.

Think back to the Rodney King riots. The Korean shop owners in L.A. had the plan. They got on their rooftops with rifles and shotguns. Guess who’s shops didn’t get looted after the verdict came down.

Gotta admit, they seemed to be the only ones who would give no quarter to that monkey business. Their livelihoods were inside those shops, and they were damn well prepared to defend it to the death. The LAPD were too busy to really worry about it at the time.

Leftist cities. I’d be surprised if that was done by these stores in Omaha.

That we have to worry about how people are going to act is a big indicator of the erosion of ethics, morality in our society.
