In a series of interviews Tuesday, Joe Biden attempted to remind America he's still running for president, but ended up providing President Trump a treasure trove of campaign fodder.
The ostensible Democratic front-runner appeared in lengthy interviews on CNN, MSNBC, and ABC's "The View," to describe how much more competent his handling of the Coronavirus crisis would be were he in the White House, but appeared confused and sick — coughing incessantly — throughout the appearances.
CNN's Jake Tapper even had to remind the former vice president that current protocol is to cough into his elbow, not his his, as he had been doing.
Biden, who has struggled to insert himself into the national conversation since the Coronavirus crisis suspended traditional political campaigning, spoke from his basement in Wilmington, Del., and was additionally impaired by an audio delay.
On The View, Biden scored an own-goal after trying to take down Trump, saying: "We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what — no matter what."
On MSNBC, Biden attacked Trump for being both too hard and too soft on China; watching him, Biden said, "is like a yo-yo." Immediately upon saying it, Biden blushed, appearing to think he may have said something racially insensitive. "I shouldn't have said that," he said to himself.

Yes but everyone knows he has emotional problems. The stress would almost certainly cause him to commit suicide by stabbing himself over 100 times then jumping in front of a train. I wonder who they would try and run then?
definitely. the Democrats got stuck with him because they needed him to be the “presumptive nominee” during the impeachment hoax. But mark my words he will not be running against Trump in November (unfortunately). He will either not be nominated or he will be nominated, choose someone like Cuomo as his VP and then step down for health reasons.
The only question is whether that was the deal he struck before South Carolina, or if it’s going to come as a surprise to him.
I agree that he is NOT the person the dims plan on electing. I will be surprised if he even lives till November. He’s not long for the world.

The Dems won’t get Biden nominated. They will get Cuomo to run.
This is one of those unexpected little beneficial attributes of modern mass media: being able to watch some like Biden ossifying on-camera. In real time.

I doubt this will happen to Biden but I don’t put it past the rats to give it a try, replacing him with whoever might be hot at the time.
They will draft Cuomo or Hillary.
I remember that, replacing him with Frank Lautenberg, the “Laut” as Rush called him. And it was illegal save for that judge who made an illegal exemption.
Maybe. Would we find out if he did? or would he just disappear for a time. It would be telling if some of his handlers went to the hospital and the rest disappeared too..
More likely Cuomo with his parachute, or even Mrs Bill.
Omg. Dr. Biden should lose her medical license for allowing this travesty. Period. This man is dangerously derailed. He doesn’t know what he is saying and he forgets the first half of his point and can’t finish the sentence. Like my dad when he had Alzheimers.
And he’s coughing into his hands (he is not effing “alone;” (his excuse) there’s an effing cameraman right there), choking, rubbing his face, wiping his nose. AND THIS ALL IS ON CAMERA AS A FRONT RUNNER CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT. It proves he is fully unfit.
This guy is going to debate Trump? Biden will be carried out on a stretcher. Or maybe Trump will shoot him out of a clown cannon over the audience.
Demented Joe would be the perfect elected President for the Democrats. A politburo could then rule while propping up Joe on a mannequin stand.
