In a series of interviews Tuesday, Joe Biden attempted to remind America he's still running for president, but ended up providing President Trump a treasure trove of campaign fodder.
The ostensible Democratic front-runner appeared in lengthy interviews on CNN, MSNBC, and ABC's "The View," to describe how much more competent his handling of the Coronavirus crisis would be were he in the White House, but appeared confused and sick coughing incessantly throughout the appearances.
CNN's Jake Tapper even had to remind the former vice president that current protocol is to cough into his elbow, not his his, as he had been doing.
Biden, who has struggled to insert himself into the national conversation since the Coronavirus crisis suspended traditional political campaigning, spoke from his basement in Wilmington, Del., and was additionally impaired by an audio delay.
On The View, Biden scored an own-goal after trying to take down Trump, saying: "We have to take care of the cure. That will make the problem worse no matter what no matter what."
On MSNBC, Biden attacked Trump for being both too hard and too soft on China; watching him, Biden said, "is like a yo-yo." Immediately upon saying it, Biden blushed, appearing to think he may have said something racially insensitive. "I shouldn't have said that," he said to himself.

I seriously doubt that anyone actually loves him, seriously.
Well, FWIW, Perot got in, then out, then back in again.
Gee. That’s too bad.
Mslsd and nbc are even worse than CNN.
He doesn’t really want to be POTUS.
The guy has early signs of dementia....one day your ok...the next not so good...
The question is will he make to July
By just a little bit.
"Don't you get it? The Dumbocrats will vote for me if I wind up flatlining and on life support before election day!"
I couldn’t help but notice how the MSNBC reporterette kept smiling and nodding while Biden started mumbling and bumbling his way through the interview pretending there was nothing wrong with what she was witnessing.
In the 30s and 40s reporter did not mention FDR’s disability. Everyone at the time knew he used a wheelchair, it was not some sort of dark secret as many think today. But his being in a wheelchair had no effect on his carrying out the duties of being President. On the other hand Joe Biden’s condition most certainly does.
Something serious and rapid has undoubtedly happened. I saw a clip of him earlier today. He looks suddenly older, his voice has changed, entirely confused, and at one point seemed to slur his words. Its almost like he was on something to keep him young and his supply was cut.
You gotta wonder, his staff up to now is letting him down, the incident from his house yesterday was an absolute disaster...it was poorly setup and poorly delivered...it was as if they were total amateurs....Given Biden’s mental state they can’t afford any technical glitches and they had one after the other...
If he goes on the stage with Trump, you will see one guy who is in control and giving answers and the other who is bumbling and confused, the voters who might not totally buy into Trump will clearly see one who is mentally on it and one who is sad and pathetic....
Well, if you listen to him, he seems to think he's already running the whole country.
He's not, and he never will be.
Sounds plausible but it won’t happen. DNC removing the guy who won the nomination? Nope, that would be laughable with ramifications we have not thought of.
Biden is a couple years away from being in an Alzheimer’s unit in a nursing home.
This is bad for Trump actually, because if Joe keeps up like this, they will replace him with Cuomo who is a MUCH more formidable candidate.
They love their life of political grifting more!
Arkancide, now in WuFlu!
“The guy has early signs of dementia...”
Yes, several indicators are becoming unavoidable. Don’t wish it on anyone.
D’rats are a terrible group of people with his situation, but he’s bought into it. Wonder what his closet looks like.
Yup but they'll probably wait until it's too late for others to jump in.
