These are not the polls the corrupt news media was hoping to see. Not at all. After two solid weeks of the corrupt news media and prominent Democrats parroting the talking points of the communist Chinese government, the public is obviously grown weary of the nonsense. No one with a normal, functioning brain believes that the terms Chinese flu or China virus that President Donald Trump likes to use are in any real way racist. They simply and accurately identify the source of the virus that is killing thousands of people all over the world.

The publics weariness of the tiresome media/Democrat narrative is now showing up in polling data, with no fewer than four new national polls this past week showing strong majorities of Americans pulling together to reject the narrative and approving of the Presidents handling of the crisis. In the two most recent polls, taken this week as the media focus on this non-issue reached a fever pitch, the majority margin is now in double digits.
A new ABC/Ipsos poll released early on Friday shows the approve/disapprove ratio at 55% to 43%, and a new poll from Morning Consult released on Friday afternoon pegs the margin at a whopping 53% to 39%.
The corrupt media petulance moved into the silly season at Fridays Coronavirus Task Force press conference. The questioning became so absurd that even the normally composed Dr. Anthony Fauci, a 40+ year veteran of such events, snapped at the media twice for reporters efforts to mischaracterize some of his own comments.
Unfortunately, though, Faucis own comments intentionally downplaying the potential for hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus ended up playing a dominant role in the presser.
The Presidents most notable confrontation of the Friday event came with inveterate jackass MSNBC reporter Peter Alexander, who decided it was his role to debate the POTUS on whether or not he was being reassuring enough to the American people.
Heres a longer, unedited clip of the exchange, not the highly-edited one pretty much every TV outlet decided to run with later:
Buddy Belk @LessGovMoreFun . Here is the full clip, (not the abbreviated dem-clip they've passed around) -- where NBC's Peter Alexander talks over @POTUS, interrupts him, and asks bombastic questions:#ConCast#ChinaCoronavirus#FF

Alexander: What do you say to Americans who are scared, though, nearly 200 dead, 14,000 who are sick, millions, as you witness, who are scared right now. What do you say to Americans who are watching you right now who are scared?
Trump: I say that you are a terrible reporter. Thats what I say. [crosstalk]
Alexander: [badgering now] But what do you say
Trump: I say thats a very nasty question, and I think its a very bad signal that youre putting out to the American people. The American people are looking for answers, and they are looking for hope. And youre doing sensationalism, and the same with NBC and Comcast, I dont call
Alexander: [more badgering]
Trump: I dont call it Comcast, I call it Comcast [more badgering] let me just, for who you work [more badgering] let me just tell you something: Thats really bad reporting, and you ought to get back to reporting instead of sensationalism. Lets see if it [hydroxychloroquine] works: It might, and it might not. [more badgering] I happen to feel good about it, but who knows? Ive been right a lot. Lets see what happens.

Now, what had led up to this was really caused by Dr. Fauci, whose real agenda in all of this remains a matter that is still up in the air. Fauci, despite multiple peer-reviewed international studies one of which we talked about in yesterdays Campaign Update indicating that hydroxychloroquine, a plentiful, well-known anti-Malaria treatment, is highly effective in actually curing coronavirus, had just finished his own statement during which he severely downplayed the potential for that drug to help in this pandemic, choosing instead to focus on new drugs that are in the development phase.
Several things are important to note here:
Fauci is a life-long bureaucrat, and it is the nature of bureaucrats to protect their own turf and always seek to expand it. His remarks were entirely consistent with this professional outlook. Those new drugs stand to make billions for American Big Pharma in the context of this plague. Profits from mass production and distribution of a well-known, pre-existing drug like hydroxychloroquine would be far, far less. And, The use of an already-approved, well-known drug denies federal bureaucrats the opportunity to gum up the process and claim credit. So, what is Faucis real motivation here? Is he just another turf-protecting bureaucrat who is being influenced by corporations and their lobbyists? It certainly happens. But to his credit, Fauci did come back to the podium later and lecture the reporters in the room for overstating his previous remarks.
Another concern about Fauci surfaced on Friday, this in the form of a letter he sent to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after her shamefully dishonest Benghazi-related testimony before the House Intelligence Committee in 2013. Here is the text of that email, which can best be characterized as a love letter, found yesterday in the files of WikiLeaks:
From your doctor admirer From: Fauci, Anthony (NIH/NIAID) [E]
Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2013 6:10 PM
To: Mills, Cheryl D
Subject: Todays performance
Cheryl: Anyone who had any doubts about the Secretarys stamina and capability following her illness had those doubts washed away by todays performance before the Senate and the House. She faced extremely difficult circumstances at the Hearings and still she hit it right out of the park. Please tell her that we all love her and are very proud to know her.

My goodness. Please tell her we all love her? Really???
At best, this letter and his remarks at Fridays press conference show lack of judgment and situational awareness on Dr. Faucis part. At worst, well, lets hope the worst case scenario is not in play, because lives are literally at stake.
Bottom line, it is best to treat everything this guy says with a very skeptical ear.
That is all.
fauci remains in bed with hillary
and should be fired for the sake of Americans.
Was it not enuf that Italy held the cure for
1 1/2 months to kill the most men possible?
why should the atrocity be KNOWINGLY repeated
in the USA?
Thanks for this
Btw, what illness does the Dr know that Cankles has?

The Quinism Foundation Warns of Dangers from Use of Antimalarial Quinolines Against COVID‑19 Use of Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine, Mefloquine, Quinine, and Related Quinoline Drugs Risks Sudden and Lasting Neuropsychiatric Effects from Idiosyncratic Neurotoxicity
MARCH 20, 2020
The Quinism Foundation has warned of a risk of sudden and lasting neuropsychiatric effects from the use of antimalarial quinolines against COVID‑19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, and has urged policy makers, physicians, and members of the public to be alert to such effects.
The same endosomotropic properties that likely underlie the effectiveness of quinoline antimalarial drugs such as chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine against the virus may also underlie their dangers, said Dr. Remington Nevin, MD, MPH, DrPH, a Johns-Hopkins trained psychiatric epidemiologist and drug safety expert and former U.S. Army public health physician, who now serves as Executive Director of The Quinism Foundation. These are not safe drugs.
In susceptible individuals, these drugs act as idiosyncratic neurotoxicants, potentially causing irreversible brain and brainstem dysfunction, even when used at relatively low doses, said Dr. Nevin. This drug-induced dysfunction causes a disease of the brain and brainstem called quinoline encephalopathy, or quinism, which can be marked acutely by psychosis, confusion, and risk of suicide, and by lasting psychiatric and neurological symptoms.
Symptoms of chronic quinoline encephalopathy include tinnitus, dizziness, vertigo, paresthesias, visual disturbances, nightmares, insomnia, anxiety, agoraphobia, paranoia, cognitive dysfunction, depression, personality change, and suicidal thoughts, among others, said Dr. Nevin. Particularly among military veterans, in whom these drugs have been widely used for decades as prophylactic antimalarials, these symptoms can mimic and be mistaken for those of post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury.
His wife has a different last name....I wonder if she INVESTS in PHARMACEUTICALs?....she gave HILLIARY $1000.00....hmm. .
every drug has its risk benefits, FRiend.
and in this case, the benefits FAR outweigh
the risks which are mainly visual ... and reversible.
Actually what he said was:
I dont call it Comcast, I call it Concast.
Clearly, esp. for death-bed cases.
I only posted this because it might explain Dr. Fauci’s less enthusiastic response, compared to Trump.
Are those made in China?
Faucki is in love with Hillary and has no credibility. He has to go. He can go help Italy.
The Italians are surely trying possible drugs.
They aren’t designed to fight Covid-19 and will likely have modest effectiveness at best.
Fauci is a good man. Keep him at his post
These are not safe drugs.
This Hillary-loving bureaucrat has been running CDC since 1984 and failed to be ready for three epidemics. At 79 years old, he ought to be retired and a competent person should be in his position. Instead, hes on TV arguing with the President at the encouragement of the Leftist press. Enough of that.
He needs his ass canned now.
Fauci is a serious, intelligent infectious disease expert, an accomplished research scientist who understands the scientific method. He has extensive disease in studying viral disease. He more than anyone would be delighted if this apparent observation that chloroquine/Zithromax somehow is effective in treating COVID-19 infection. Yet he knows the through experience the fragility of antidotal data. Prospective and double blind studies must be completed to establish the validity, safety and effectiveness of any therapeutic regimen or vaccine. It takes time and study.
Yet that is not to say that some of the greatest advances in medicine and science have been made by ethical Edisonian empiricism. Trump is right to get excited about chloroquine/Zithromax. Fauci has a duty to be skeptical and do the hard , tedious science.
If this treatment with chloroquine/Zithromax is effective in patients with symptomatic COVID-19 infection before they go into respiratory failure, then it will prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed. It is right to hope and be optimistic but not foolishly blissful.
Murder suicide is one hell of a side effect.
The drugs could be highly effective at preventing asymptomatic patients from getting mild symptoms.
I actually agree with you on this. But Fauci’s behavior in all of this has been highly-questionable.
I was wondering about where he was coming from. Your research helps me to understand. I hope Trump slides him to the background and let that Female Doctor (Forgot her Name) lead the MD’s on TV.
