Moderate Democrats watched in horror as Bernie Sanders soared to a landslide victory in Nevada.
It wasn't the win that was surprising it was the walloping Sanders gave his opponents, his ability to dominate among Latino voters, and the momentum he gained moving into South Carolina and Super Tuesday. The performance sent already worried Democrats into a full-blown panic.
In 30-plus years of politics, Ive never seen this level of doom. Ive never had a day with so many people texting, emailing, calling me with so much doom and gloom, said Matt Bennett of the center-left group Third Way after Sanders' win in Nevada.
Bennett said moderates firmly believe a Sanders primary win would seal Donald Trumps reelection. Its this incredible sense that were hurtling to the abyss. I also think we could lose the House. And if we do, there would be absolutely no way to stop [Trump]. Today is the most depressed Ive ever been in politics.
A renewed sense of urgency washed over establishment Democrats, who fear its quickly becoming too late to stop Sanders.

Yeah. Like when the SA put Hitler in power and then figured out they had the numbers and wanted to replace the military. Hindenburg and the German General Staff said either they go or you do. So Hitler had the SS take them out.
the coronavirus going on full-blown by then? Americans are fickle and if they are made enough promises things could change
Dems want to spend 6+ trillion a year...whereas a moderate dem only wants to spend 5 trillion a year.
How ironic is it that the very flood of Hispanic "voters" that the Democrats unleashed into the United States has turned to bite their asses?
This is comical.
The Oligarch Globalists are in full meltdown, need more popcorn
Feel the burn
I gave $25.00 bucks to this doddering geezer...
Who on earth WANTS their pockets picked???
```````
1) people who have nothing in their pockets - illegals
2) people who are too dumb to know they have something in their pockets - millennials
Where are all these “moderate Democrats” hiding?
This poll shows exactly why none of the top six candidates should drop out.
They will probably all get some delegates from New York.
Why not use them for leverage at the convention?
It is hilarious when one candidate says the others should drop out, particularly when the other candidates have higher polling numbers than they do!
Its why the new legal immigrants are being rushed to citizenship to vote.
likely as not, by the mainland Chinese (CCP) voter registration drive which flipped VA and hopes to repeat in the fall
No, he'd do that after he got elected.
To Bernie, concentration camps are a feature, not a bug.
She doesn't have that kind of control this time.
We’ve all been deep in the weeds, but I’m crawling out for a minute to comment on the big picture.
Bernie is the mirror-image Trump. Both parties were weak and ripe for the taking. They’ve been in D.C. only for themselves for too long and too many citizens from both sides have caught on.
Both party structures have been taken over. The Clinton era ended with the one-two punch of Obama and Bernie. Trump ended the Bush era. Now comes the struggle between two currently populist parties over who runs the USA.
It’s a Celebrity Deathmatch between the doers and the takers.
The Dims have no way out of their sewer.
Oh yes she does. She conspired with the DNC in 2016 to send the Bern home early. Now she has bought and paid for the DNC Convention. Podesta and the rest of her cronies are in charge.
this makes me so happy. To think that all that Schiff, Nancy P, Chuck S, and the Deep State have done and how angry I am at being constantly called names by the Democrats (deplorable, racist, homophobe, sexist, etc.), it is nice to see Karma in action seeing her revenge.
