Relying heavily on a report by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), NBC News published this article Thursday that defines boogaloo as a fringe term used by an anti-government movement that advocates for a violent uprising targeting liberal political opponents and law enforcement.
It breathlessly warns that the new and discreet term has moved from the fringes of the internet into the mainstream they're scared, and you should be too.
Forget if you can that the article (quite revealingly) equates anti-government to pro-Second Amendment, and let's just focus on what has to be the underlying message: words equal violence.
After all, there isn't a single violent incident referenced in the entire piece. There are several references to potential violence. There are plenty of innuendos about racist threats and white supremacy. But why was it so hard for NBC News to find an actual example of violence? What about that scary Virginia rally?

Was Blythe Danner’s head in the box?
- “Se7en” reference.
Boogaloo has morphed to be first the big igloo, then big luau, and now the hootenanny. Looking at VA the current term then was big luau that’s why so many of the protesters had Hawaiian shirts under their plate covers. Just FYI
That’s right, That’s right
I’m sad and blue
‘Cause I can’t do the Boogaloo
I’m lost, I’m lost
Can’t do my thing
That’s why I sing
Gimme, Gimme Dat Ding Ah...
Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, Dat Ding (Oh Sing it one more time Momma)
Oh,Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme, Gimme Dat
Gimme Dat Ding, Gimme Dat
Gimme, Gimme Dat, Gimme Dat Ding
Gimme Dat, Gimme, Gimme Dat,
It’s an army veteran thing.
Almost no one stopped to listen to this great performance...hardly anyone clapped.
England is lost...well, except for that piano-playing boogie-woogie master rabble rouser...
Bruce Springsteen is a threat!
Billy, he’s down by the railroad tracks
Sittin’ low in the back seat of his Cadillac
Diamond Jackie, she’s so intact
And she falls so softly beneath him
Jackie’s heels are stacked, Billy’s got cleats on his boots
Together they’re gonna boogaloo down Broadway and come back home with the loot
It’s midnight in Manhattan, this is no time to get cute
It’s a mad dog’s promenade
So walk tall, or baby, don’t walk at all
but $15.00 is a bit steep...
it could be a dance term.
Play that funky music white boy
Lay down that boogaloo and play that funky music till you die
Till you die, oh till you die...
“Shabba Doo” is a hater?
I had some friends who named their dog Boogaloo. I knew what they were thinking when Boogaloo did his dirty dog dance on my leg. LOL!
LOL That guy really did rock that piano.
It was an airport terminal so people probably didn’t have time to stop. Didn’t seem like many people around. Maybe he didn’t time that well with flight arrivals. Also the armed security likes to keep people moving on.
I saw Breakin 2 in the theater. And CHUD.
