We can really just chalk up this next story to California being California in the most California way.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom gave his State of the State address on Wednesday to a joint session of the California Legislature and told the predominantly controlled by Democrats body that of a new proposal that would allow doctors to write out prescriptions for housing as part of a five-point plan to combat California’s homelessness situation.

Seems like this is insulting to doctors, IMO. Newsom is suggesting that doctors should be “social workers”.
My doc is a sweetheart.
She will be happy to write a prescription giving me authorization to take over all of the houses of all of the Democratic members of Congress plus Bloomberg plus Gates plus Bozos.

Good grief. Greek to me and he probably should go back there if he can’t phrase a proper sentence in English! I don’t know why there are any unemployed today as it seems that anyone can get hired somewhere! Journalism is the best bet! Must not be strict in hiring!!

My 99-year old mom, when she was dying had too big a Social Security check to qualify for MediCal. There was absolutely nothing the state could or would do to help her. The social workers were apologetic, but rules are rules. Illegals new to the state? Step right up! You get a free cell phone, high-speed internet, food stamps, housing assistance, free ambulance rides...the list goes on.
Need a scrip for Carmel Valley. Oh, and one for no taxes on it since that would make me anxious.
