Gun control sugar daddy and Democrat presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg was asked on Thursday about the shooting at the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas, and took the opportunity to blast the crazy idea that the “average” American has the right to bear arms for self defense.

Seems to me an armed American citizen carrying to protect themselves, their families and yours, from criminals and destruction, are not just average. They are the first line of defense and above the sheep he thinks we are.

The police are under no obligation to place themselves in danger to save anyone from harm. They are required simply to apprehend or those who break the law. Lethal resistance to arrest can be dealt with in a lethal manner. In an active shooter situation, this is most easily accomplished once a shooter has run out of ammunition or can be flanked. Please notice that in shootings like Columbine and Parkland that the police took the low-risk approach without too many repercussions. That was not illegal on their part, but it was certainly shameful.
Occasionally, brave policemen of high moral fiber will place themselves at risk to stop an active shooter. It seems that most of us at FR would never allow harm to come to innocents if there was a way to stop such an event.
We The People traditionally protect ourselves.
