SLOVAKIA is one country where Muslims have no religious rights. Islam is not recognized as a religion, nor is it allowed to be taught in any school. Islamic marriages are not legal in Slovakia, either. For the tiny minority of Muslims (5,000) who do live there, no mosques or Islamic centers can be built.
Slovakia was occupied by the Turkish Muslim Ottomans for 200 years. They won’t makes that mistake again.

Wuhan Virus -
Still high numbers, but there are reports of falling numbers of new cases in China, suggesting the epidemic has peaked. WHO director Ghebreyesus warns the potential trend “must be interpreted very cautiously”, indeed with the very strong evidence of China hiding the numbers can any number be trusted. Most recent numbers I’ve come across 75,129 confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide, including 2,007 fatalities .
Global expansion of infections after these many weeks does not appear to be out of control. One recent number has 827 cases in 26 countries with 5 deaths (0.6% mortality rate versus 2-3% in China).
Secondary affects from China’s massive quarantines still ripple out from closed factories and supplies to other countries, causing slowdowns and shut downs there. Many nations are concerned that this could cause a major world recession. Some in the US are finally waking up to the reality of just how MUCH the US imports from China - in this instance prescription medicines and other medical supplies/equipment.
Israel -
Much of the attention is focused on the pending 3d election. Pretty much the standard fare of Hamas et al sending IED balloons and a few rockets/mortars across the border with IAF blowing up things for real. Plus threats and insults from both sides. Rumors that PIJ may seize the relative “calm” between Israel and Hamas to stir up more trouble. Time will tell if Hamas will be able to keep PIJ under their thumb.
Syria/Turkey -
Turkish military efforts to stop Syria/Russia in the Aleppo area have failed. The operation cleared a main highway (M5) allowing resupply and rapid reinforcement of pro-Syria forces. The assault puts additional pressure on the Idlib Provence. Turkey sees stability in the Idlib Provence essential to its security of its southern border with Syria. Given the Syrian/Russian refusal to follow an earlier agreement to halt further assaults, pressure is rising on Turkey to respond more directly and militarily to the advance.
Iran -
Parliamentary elections are coming in three days. The expected turnout is less than 20% as most if not all recognize that only the candidates that are loyal to the clerical dictatorship are allowed to run; past results haven’t improved their economy and quality of life. Major public protests have subsided in recent weeks, with thousands killed by Quds forces. This has only driven the resistance underground. A key component of revolt/revolution is when the population sees no recourse to change policies/leadership, the only other option is violence. This election will do nothing but continue to throw gasoline on the unrest of the Iranian population.
N Korea -
NK is between a rock and a hard place. Economic sanctions by the west combined with the closure of the entire border with China have ravaged the economy and people. Discontent has risen as well, with various NK diplomats abroad being summoned back on charges of espionage and anti govt activities. Kim has kept a very low profile recently, with public appearances between Jan 1 and Feb 16 - the fewest of his career since 2012. Speculation is rising as to why. Also of note, the aggressive short range missile ‘tests’ have ceased for the past month or so. Something is going on, but what is uncertain at this time.

Dissatisfaction in blue state coming from the strongly red, rural areas of those states is manifesting itself in a growing movement to separate into separate states or join neighboring red states. Separate state initiatives such as Jefferson (California) and Liberty (eastern Washington) now see red Virginia counties looking towards West Virginia and now eastern Oregon/N. Ca looking to join Idaho. The Red/Blue chasm is extreme in these areas as the Marxist/liberal urban centers increasing impingement on the rights and business of the rural areas of their states. For these red area, peaceful separation is the goal, but as increasingly onerous progressiveness/Marxism spreads out from the urban dominant centers, such a separation may not be very peaceful - as evidenced by the actions of red Virginia counties/cities.
In one victory, Virginia’s legislature failed to pass a law essentially banning nearly all semi-automatic rifles. One small victory, but the legislature has passed a half dozen other laws that strip rights away. These laws will come into effect in July - the next marker date for red county Virginia resistance.

Wuhan Virus -
New counts coming out indicate that the virus is gaining a foot hold in both S Korea and Japan. SK has reportedly increased its alert status to Red and is encouraging 2.5 million residents of one southeastern city (Daegu) to remain at home.
In Iran, road closures and isolation of areas around Qom and Tehran are being reported due to detected infections in a containment effort.
Syria/Turkey -
Turkey’s President Erdogan on Wednesday threatened a full-scale military invasion of the war torn province after the Syrian Army and its Russian ally refused to halt their ongoing offensive. Yesterday, Turkey requested NATO declare a no fly zone over the area. Nothing happened - thanks to Turkey burning bridges. This could potentially place Turkey and Russia force on force. This morning, reports are coming that Turkish units were specifically targeted by airstrikes carried out by either Russia or Syrian aircraft. Also claims by Syrian military sources that they destroyed 3 Turkish tanks overnight. Meanwhile, more Turkish armor and support equipment is being funneled into the Idlib area, with strong rumors of a counter attack pending. The potential for things getting out of control are escalating.

The Nevada Democrat debates revealed the depth of the candidates desire for Marxism/Communism. This reflects the hard left plunge of the Democrats over the years - one that JFK wouldn’t have recognized except to call it out as unamerican. There is a short fuze on the left and that fuze could bring an explosion depending on the triggering mechanism.

France: 120 knife attacks reported per day, linked to mass Muslim migration
The UK has seen the same problem with violence attributed to Muslim migrant gangs. Almost 10,000 gun crimes were committed in a single recent year in the UK, despite the country being known as “gun free” due to its “strictest gun control laws in the world.”
Britain has seen gun crimes rise by “27 per cent in five years and the number of firearms seized has quadrupled.”
And there’s an illegal arms trade going on between France and the UK. Weapons traffickers routinely pick up guns from Muslim migrant camps in Calais and ship them back to the UK.

A significant number of rockets (dozens) being fired into Israel from Gaza. IAF counter strikes ongoing. PIJ claiming this is their response to the killing of one of its leaders at the border where he was emplacing an ied. First round of rockets started about 4 hours ago with a fresh series within the past hour .
Expect harsh counter strikes.

IAF hit PJ sites in Syria in addition to Gaza. PIJ issued statement that revenge attacks for those killed were pending.
This looks to have serious potential to escalate quickly. However PIJ has not inflicted much damage to Israel but has taken serious damage

Wuhan Virus -
Global panic levels have jumped up a notch with serious outbreaks developing in S Korea, Italy and Iran. The outbreak in S. Korea is centered around a cult who’s leader claims to be the immortal reincarnation of Jesus. Italy, many cities now quarantined. In Iran, cultural centers and schools have been closed and reportedly 50 have already died. Fear of the infection drove voting numbers to their lowest level (in addition to general ma laze that the vote means nothing).
Fear of pandemic and the weeks worth of interrupted manufacturing in China is reported to be driving stock markets around the world to go into a tailspin this week. Chinese firms, reportedly in the millions, are facing collapse because of the economic disaster the virus has wrought.
Iran -
Hardliners won the election by a landslide, but that was expected. Record low turnout of 42.6%.
With the killing of Soleimani, follow on analysis indicates that the IRGC is still in turmoil. His successor, Ismail Qaani is underwhelming and doesn’t have the same level of power Soleimani did. Part of this is the impression that the IRGC under Soleimani posed a threat to the ruling imans and they want to reign them in. As a result, the current threat posed by the IRGC and Qods force has been diminished for the time being.
Israel/Gaza/Syria -
The IDF attacked terror targets in the Gaza Strip in response to over 21 rockets were fired towards southern Israel communities on Sunday in several rocket barrages after Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) threatened to avenge the death of a terrorist by the IDF after he tried to plant explosives along the Gaza border fence. PIJ promised more attacks in response to members killed in the Syrian attacks.
Breaking - more rockets are being fired out of Gaza as night starts to fall in the middle east. Israeli army units being deployed to the border, word from the Israeli defense minister suggests that a ground assault is not out of the question. IAF and army artillery counterstikes already being reported. Public is fed up with continued attacks from Gaza and generally have support for a ground assault to deal with the terrorists.

Following Sander’s win in Nevada, Salon mag published an article calling for “revolutionary change” to replace capitalism with socialism. While not openly calling for violence, it warned its readers to prepare for violence.
Wuhan Virus -
Yesterday was a blood bath for the DOW dropping over 1000 points (3.5%). Markets around the world reflected the same on fear of supply disruptions from China as well as internal chaos in their own countries. Potential for severe economic chaos and global unrest if this pulls the carpet from under the global economy.
I’m not going to cover the current numbers except to note that additional studies indicate that for about 80% of the infected population the symptoms are mild to asymptomatic. The danger lies in the 20% that have to be hospitalized and in many cases with severe lung/breathing conditions. Of those hospitalized, the mortality rate is staggering. I can see where advanced health care is overwhelmed like China, hospitalized can’t get the necessary care. Smaller infections in advanced countries have been able to stave off high mortality rates because the care is still readily available. Overwhelm the system and it comes crashing down.
In the US, POTUS has requested 2.5 Billion for an emergency response plan/preparation in the event the virus breaks uncontrollable. Democrats typically stonewalling the request.
Iran’s MP Mahmoud Sadeghi and the Deputy Health minister Iraj Harirchi are reported to be infected with the virus. I find it interesting that two ministers are infected - who with govt access brought the virus in from China? Iran is on tight hold on the extent of the epidemic, struggling to deal with the economic crisis due to sanctions and a broad uprising against the government. Wuhan could drive further revolts and riots against the Imams.
LOOK AHEAD. With more outbreaks there is increased probability this will break into a pandemic. We are in the window warned about a couple of weeks ago where lack of controls and the high rate of infection come together to begin a serious global spread.
Turkey -
Heavy fighting continues in Idlib with Turkey and supported forces continuing to be driven back. The more the Turks get pushed back, the only choices left to them are to fall back or go all in.
Israel/Gaza -
Over the past couple days PIJ launched over 80 rockets into southern Israel. Over night PIJ announced a unilateral ceasefire. Israel still on a measured state of alert. Israel conducted heavy airstrikes against PIJ targets not only in Gaza but Syria as well and the attrition may be one of the factors in the ceasefire. Ceasefire only means re-arm to Islamic terrorists.
Libya -
Civil war there is at a bloody stalemate. The “official” government (GNA) is being propped up by Turkey (because of agreements for oil exploration in the Med) while the rebels (LNA) are supported by the Russians. This week there have been attempts to negotiate a cease fire, with out success.

Seems that the chaos surrounding the hard left’s take over of the democrat presidential primaries has put breaks on the restart of more witch hunts to impeach President Trump. If the Wuhan virus does breakout in the US, social and civil unrest may breakout. Get your basic preps now - OTC flu and cold medicines as well as start pumping up on immune boosters like Vit C.

Greater concerns have hit the stock market as reports of infections spreading to regions outside of China continues. Much has been made about the comparison of the deaths to date from the corona virus to that of the flu. The mortality rate from the flu in the US is about 0.1% from infections of approximately 45 million. The corona virus has recorded fewer deaths, but is at a mortality rate of 2-3% range - 20 times that of the regular flu. We need to keep percentages in mind, and not straight number comparisons as one gauge of the danger. The other is the transmission factor - which is high but hard to gauge given that it can be spread asymptomatically. As quarantines spread into other countries, economic disruptions become more severe, especially since most of those economies have been under-performing as of late.
The President announced the task force to address federal coordination of the prevention and control of any potential pandemic. It lays out common sense. We really still don’t know enough about the spread to be dogmatic and so far the travel restrictions and quarantine of those infected here are holding. We have some time to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. But if the worst happens, this could be a black swan event that can seriously damage our economy and be utilized by the left to generate further chaos.

Turkey/Syria-
Turkish efforts in Idlib have been hampered due to Russian control of the airspace over the region. Erdogan warned on Feb. 5 that the Syrian regime forces must withdraw from the area that was designated as a de-escalation zone in Idlib until the end of February, signaling a new military operation if the threat against Turkey’s military posts in the area continues.
Israel/Gaza-
In an interview on Tuesday, Israel’s Defense Minister Naftali Bennett said that a major ground offensive into Gaza to stop the terrorism threat of rockets/mortars into southern Israel will happen in the “near future”. There is general support for such an operation given the regularity of rocket/mortar attacks. Hints are of a surprise attack. Inference was also made that supporting sites in Syria, mostly storage and some manufacturing facilities, will also be hit.
Israel/Hezbollah
Breaking this morning are unconfirmed reports of a senior Hezbollah leader - Imad al-Tawil - being taken out over night by a drone strike in the Golan area. He was in charge of coordinating operations in the Golan. No confirmation yet from Hezbollah, but if so the unfolding of their response needs close monitoring. Additionally, this would confirm the presence of Hezbollah operations in Syria. Current (last couple hours) of a lot of reported IAF activity over the Golan and Lebanon.
Iran -
Iranian efforts to expand their control in Iraq and Syria are not producing the desired results. Despite the much reduced budget for operations in Syria, the Iranian Quds Force officers in charge convinced their bosses back in Iran that more cash was needed. Cash will become harder to get if the corona virus outbreaks continues to expand in Iran as it currently appears on track to do. That and continued pressure by Israel through destruction of Iranian bases and storage facilities will make money dry up even quicker.

Good for them! The entire San Diego police dept said they are not going along with the seditious CA laws about not cooperating with ICE etc. (my words not theirs.)
About time. But better expect the marxists to try to bring the hammer down on them. But then DOJ/ICE are starting legal proceedings against cities to comply - hope that pans out.

Actually I take it as a very good sign. ICE went into a courthouse in Sonoma Cnty the other day and arrested two illegals. More County Sheriffs have said stuff similar, most rural counties in CA are conservative. The DoJ is not going to allow outright insurrection to continue in CA.

A Russian airstrike(s) near the Turkey/Syria border has reportedly killed “dozens” of Turkish soldiers (some reports of 37 dead). Erdogan in in an emergency meeting and things could escalate very rapidly.
Russia OTOH is accusing Turkey of supporting the rebels with artillery fire.
