BLACKMON This is how the Democrats really do stuff.......every word uttered is poll-driven and focus grouped. Nanzi and Bug-eyes Schiff are eager to find handy new damaging words to describe what it is they’re accusing the President of doing. Now the operating word is “bribery.” – “Quid pro quo” never did work: too clumsy and all in Latin and stuff. And nobody “obstruction of congress,” which is not even a real thing.

Perhaps I’m wrong, but I think that the Constitutional justification of ‘bribery’ for an impeachment was the idea of a President taking bribes, i.e. the President being the ‘bribee’ not the ‘briber’—which is and has been since the beginning of time a problem for those who have any power whatsoever.

Congress authorizes the transfer of $X to Ukraine. Someone is committing “bribery” if they tell Ukraine they might NOT get it?
I wish this kind of “bribery” would happen all the time with public officials using taxpayer money.
