Whites tend to vote Republican, while nonwhites tend to vote Democrat. This proved true in the 2016 election, when Trump carried white voters by 20 percent, while Hillary Clinton won 74 percent of nonwhite voters. With the number of Latinos living in the United States nearly doubling since 2000, it is not difficult to see why Texas could soon follow California, Colorado, and Nevada into the Democratic camp in the next 20 years.
Using the 2000 census and the 2010 census along with 2018 data, the electoral reality becomes more clear. The population of those under 18 will be majority nonwhite next year. Each of the major ethnic groups is expanding at different rates. By averaging the rate of annual population change between 2010 and 2018, we get an estimate of 2020 demographic figures. The number of Latinos will likely increase to nearly 63 million in 2020, an astounding 24 percent higher than in 2010. Latinos will comprise 19 percent of the overall population by 2020, up 50 percent from 2000. Finally, the proportion of whites as a percentage of the overall population will likely decline from 69 percent in 2000 down to 59 percent in 2020.

Electoral votes for illegal immigrants steals electors from other states and shifts them to Califophony.
How to steal an election 101
Last I read, Trump was polling something close to 50% of Hispanic voters.
I’ve lost count of how many times over the decades that I’ve read about the demise of the GOP.
Yawn. Still not taking it seriously.
For all his flaws (and I despise the guy), George W. Bush won 44% of the Hispanic vote in 2004. So I simply do not accept the underlying premise about demographics working against the GOP. In fact, I can easily see a future in this country where political parties successfully play off various immigrant groups against each other.
According to Democrats, white people vote white, non-white people vote non-white
According to Republicans, people with a middle-class orientation vote Republican, and moochers and takers and the elite vote Democrat.
Whoz da racis?
It’s time for you to start taking it very seriously. The GOP lost the popular vote in 6 of the last 7 presidential elections. ELections like 1972, 1980, or 1984 where the Republican swept 40+ states are impossible to imagine now. Trump lost the popular vote by 2 points. If the country had the same demographics it did in the 80s and those demographics voted the same as the did in 2016, Trump would have won the popular vote by 8 points.
They rattle this off as if it’s inevitable without acknowledging democrats are doing this on purpose to take over the country.
And when you think about their analysis it is pure racism and racial political engineering.
If we get the wall up, have an accurate census which shows people leaving blue states, get some voter id laws passed in the red states, we should be fine.
The only way to get things better is to go all the way down and start completely over.
The faster the better. The longer this takes, the worse it will be.
Not if citizens are separated from no. Citizens on the census.
That's because he kissed their ass.
The EC will give their votes to whomever they want. Forget about the wishes of the voters.
The wrong Kennedys got shot.
In 2016, Republicans controlled 35 states, the rats controlled 11 states.
You raise a good point, but I dont think demographics is the biggest factor in this trend. Ive been saying for years that URBANIZATION is the single biggest factor influencing the underlying political trend in this country. This explains Democrats do so well along wealthy WHITE voters in major metro areas.
Other than vote, there’s not much I can do about it. I don’t expect to be around in 2024 anyway. Good luck, y’all.
True but what politician HASN’T done that?
In the 90's the Republicans controlled the People's Republic of California, then the illegals showed up ...
