"Active Shooter" in Nicetown Neighborhood of Philadelphia, Several Police Injured

There are numerous reports of an "active shooter" in the Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Several police officer have been injured. It is unclear, at this time, how many other people have been shot or killed.

We do not know if this was an ambush or something else.

The Nicetown neighborhood is in urban decay with many abandoned buildings, according to wikipedia.

The population is predominantly black and Hispanic, about 85% black and 7% hispanic, with a sprinkling of others.

Anyone who would send their kids to a public school in this political environment should be charged with child abuse and child endangerment.
