Well, first they had to eliminate the primary repository of evidence, i.e. Epstein himself.
The island raid was no doubt scheduled for soon after July 25, but had to be postponed due to Epstein’s failure to cooperate in his first “suicide” attempt.
Under the Obozo, the FBI would raid some place, take any and all evidence and that’d be the last anyone would ever hear of it. It was all for coverup. Wouldn’t they have done the same for Epstein Island?
